Independent Hoops has brought their platform to the Valley of the Sun with the Exclusive runs Final Four Event. The event runs from April 5th – April 7th and takes place at Inspire Court, in Gilbert. The event brings teams from across the country to compete in this high stakes tournament. Several local teams have made the trip to Phoenix to compete, bringing with them some talented potential prospects. Here’s a look at some players to watch from the event.
Kuminga has the potential to be the breakthrough player of the event. The forward has long arms, ball skills and the ability to rebound. His length and pedigree will definitely be on display in this National event.
Lide is one of the state’s top sharpshooters. He’ll be running with the Hardwork Dedication squad, for the event. Expect a display of some deep range shooting for the class of 2025 sniper.
Recently saw Madsen during the Venom Rankings Run, he was impressive then, looking to see him under the pressure of tournament format play. He’s a willing defender, who’s tough enough to mix it up under the basket. Madsen and his LV Aces squad are looking for a deep run in the event.
Highlights
Childress is a scoring guard with good speed and quickness. Really looking forward to evaluating him while playing on and off the ball. He has the ability to be a knock down shooter in catch and shoot action, as well as a shot creator in 1 v 1 opportunities.
Taylor is a alum of both the Las Vegas Middle School Combine and the Venom Rankings Run. The physical guard, plays multiple positions, and can dominate games with his driving and inside scoring ability.
This will be a great setting to evaluate Onykekonye. He is an active big man with some athleticism. Looking to see what areas of his offensie game he’s added as well as any physical growth. He has the ability to be one of the more dominant glass cleaners at the event.
