Broxie is a player that is equipped with a signature skill. His strong hands already have established him as one of the top rebounders in the state. He’s looking to show an expaned skill set this Grassroots season, which will incude shooting and perimeter skills.
I’m not really sure if Thatcher has much to prove as he has to double down on what he’s done on the basketball court. He had a more than productive season as a freshman on one of the best Varsity teams in the state. The lefty proved to be a sharpshooter, for the Aggies this season. Look for the two sport star to have some productive outings this Grassroots season.
IMO Imperial is already one of the top passers in the state. The PG has terrific vision and has been more than successful, with his ability to find players both from a stationary position and off the bounce. One he proves the ability to knock down open shots, it’s over for defenders attempting to close to him.
Reed is a player that I got to see during the Venom Rankings Run. His length and rim running ability make him one of the more intriguing prospects in his class. At the conclusion of last year’s Grassroots season, he established himself as one of the top rising prospects. If he continues to show the same growth, look for him to be one of the top Stockrisers.
Brooks and Reed are very similar, and will be compared against each other for much of their careers. The same way Reed impressed during the Venom Rankings, Brooks impressed during this past falls Prephoops Expo. He has the size and length to be a problem on the defensive end, and as he showed at the Expo, he already has floor stretching ability out to 15-18 feet.
Price spent the season running for a deep Centennial squad, but make no mistake, he can play. The verasatile guard has the ability to shoot the ball, break down defenders and create for others. Don’t be suprised to see him breakout this Grassroots season as he typically runs with a loaded Vegas Elite squad.
Ewell is another player that participated in the Venom Rankings Run. He’s perhaps one of the most intriguing prospects in his class as his positional size, allows him to be a big time player at both backcourt positions. His ability to pass the ball is what makes him different, as the guard plays the game with top notch vision.
