Aiden Reed Aiden Reed 6'5" | PF Sierra Vista | 2027 State NV sits 9th in the new 2027 rankings. He had a productive season for Sierra Vista, racking up blocks game in and game out and establishing himself as a consistent rim protector. He notably had a 10-block game against Legacy in December. He was also the top rebounder in 5A statistically, snagging 8.2 per game and controlling the glass on both ends. Reed was a contributor on offense as well. He can leverage his size to drive to the hoop at times, and he is capable of scoring second-chance points and extending possessions.

Aiden Reed Aiden Reed 6'5" | PF Sierra Vista | 2027 State NV was another bright spot for the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions. He showed a few smooth moves on offense over the course of the game, including a spinning layup finished with his left. He also knocked down a 3-pointer and got to the line a couple of times. On defense, he both altered and blocked shots.

Aiden Reed Aiden Reed 6'5" | PF Sierra Vista | 2027 State NV has some serious skills on the defensive end. He consistently uses his instincts and long arms to swat shots, which can spark transition for his team. He also comes down with a good number of rebounds. Offensively, he can shoot right over defenders in the paint, and he does the dirty work like setting screens for his guards. All in all, he’s steadily adding to his game, and his impact should only grow as the season progresses.

Aiden Reed Aiden Reed 6'5" | PF Sierra Vista | 2027 State NV was the 4th forward to make the 3-Point Competition. While he was eliminated, it was great to watch him compete in it. I can tell that he’s been looking to expand his range, which will make him even more of a threat on offense.

Aiden Reed Aiden Reed 6'5" | PF Sierra Vista | 2027 State NV ‘s wingspan was eye popping. He has a 84 inch wingspan (7 ft on the dot). Before the combine I knew he had an advantage with his height on the defensive end. But I had no idea that he had that much reach. Opposing team’s may want to think twice when going up to shoot around him this year.

The 6’5 power forward (w/o shoes) utilized his long strides and power to post the 3rd best time in the Pro Agility Drill with a time of 4.47 seconds. Considering that he was one of the taller prospects at the combine, it was impressive to see. His lateral quickness and anticipation skills should allow him to swat a good amount of shots this year.

He and the Mountain Lions played some talented teams, but he still managed to swat a few shots. I also noticed him fighting hard for rebounds. On offense, Reed did some scoring inside and finished through contact.

When it comes to protecting the rim, Reed gets vertical in the blink of an eye and can make big blocks. He also battles for boards and scores inside on offense. If he can have a productive weekend at Section 7, he may gain some interest.

He gets it done not only with his length, but he knows how to time blocks as well. Reed also fights for boards and can high point on the ball. On offense, Reed looks to get inside position inside and he’s starting to expand his game by shooting from the perimeter.

When you watch Reed play you’ll see that he has some great instincts on defense, and is an elite shot-blocker. On offense, he has good touch around the rim and is also capable of hitting mid-range shots.
