ran show at Spring Valley this past season and utilized his acceleration skills to make plays on both sides of the court. On offense, he is shiftier than his opponents anticipate, which allows him to get downhill and to the rack. Imperial is also the type of player to keep his eyes up and will also dish it off if a teammate is open on the block or in the corner. On defense, he annoys the man he’s covering with his active hands and ball pressure.

Imperial performed pretty well throughout the Varsity Fall League. He was running the point guard position with maturity and did a good amount of facilitating for his teammates. I also liked the way he competed every possession. I think he still has a little bit of work to do defensively, due to his height. But he looks ready to play big minutes for Spring Valley this year.

Imperial’s game seems to keep developing. He does a fantastic job using his speed to get to the cup. There were also a few times where he kept his eyes up as he drove with the ball and found his teammates for easy lay ups. On defense he is very active with his hands and does not make it easy for opposing players to get by him. Spring Valley will need his game management skills to win close games this year.

I think the state is really going to find out how good Imperial is this year. He’s one of the purest PG’s in the class, with the unique ability to breakdown opponents. The dime dropper just may have the ball in his hands this year for the Grizzlies.

If you like to score the ball you’ll love playing with the 2027 PG. Imperial is a pass first point guard with good quickness. Watch to see if he is more aggressive, looking to score the ball when running with his West Coast squad this weekend.

IMO Imperial is already one of the top passers in the state. The PG has terrific vision and has been more than successful, with his ability to find players both from a stationary position and off the bounce. One he proves the ability to knock down open shots, it’s over for defenders attempting to close to him.

The cupboard at Spring Valley is hardly bare at the point guard spot. Imperial is a talented player that will fit in nicely in the system. He is quick and has a lot of the physical tools needed to be successful, however it’s his mental that allows him to impact games. He did an advanced job of quickly recognizing zone and man defenses, while getting his team set up accordingly.
