One of the most consistently eye-catching performers of the season, Sheeran was a two-way impact player (4.5 apg, 3.3 spg) for the SSC league champs and state-bound North Thurston Rams. He had shown spurts in the past but took it to a whole other level this season, playing calm, controlled, and showcasing some of the best court vision I saw all year. He can score inside and out but is a true pass first player who uses a constant pace to attack gaps and shift defenses to open up passing lanes. Huge riser this season who was often the most energetic player on the court.
Another point guard who can get downhill with his eyes up, excels in the open court, and can operate equally well at different speeds. Really expanded his offensive game this season with a better floater and 3-point shot. One of the top true point guards in his class who competes through the end of the play and can run an offense and get different guys involved.
Big athlete from the perimeter who can 3 & D till the cows come home. One of those guys that can catch fire from deep and hit from way back and with hands in his face. A super athlete that’s an above the rim threat in transition and backdoor cuts. Also has the focus and hangtime to finish around multiple defenders and through contact at the hoop. Could be a part of a really dynamic back court next season with Sully Janiwade Sully Janiwade 6’5″ | PG West Seattle | 2026 State WA at West Seattle.
Good mix of athleticism and playmaking from the big guard who can get downhill and turn defenders. Has the physicality to finish going into the body of defenders inside but also the vision and presence of mind see open teammates when the second defender comes. Can shoot well enough from the outside and knocks down shots closer in off the dribble. Versatile defender and a guy who can snag the rebound and go.
Strong guard/wing with a solid all-around game that’s accented by his shooting ability. Great coming off screens to shoot on the catch, has a few really strong moves off the dribble he can use to gain separation on the perimeter and in midrange. Also highly adept at taking contact at the rim and finishing strong. Good rebounder and defender too who works hard to stay in good position.
The lead horse at Grandview, helping take the Greyhounds all the way to the 2A championship game while averaging 23 points per game. Not a huge outside threat but is a very reactionary player who can take advantage of overplays and get to his spots. Great touch at the rim and just outside the paint. Can hit with a high release and isn’t easily bothered by tight contests. Also plays with a strong motor and impacts the glass and defensive end with quick hands and good anticipation.
