It was tied 6-6 after one quarter and the Marauders took a 19-12 lead into the locker room at the half. Then, Westfield began the second half on a 9-0 run to climb on top, but Mt. Vernon responded and led 28-25 after three quarters. 6'8" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2079499' first='Nic' last='Book'] took over down the stretch scoring 10 of his game-high 14 points in the fourth quarter as the Shamrocks came away with a 41-30 victory.
