Chris Davis Jr. – 2025 – SG – Sun Prairie West
Just another night at the office for Davis, who scored a game-high 42 points — right at his average. It’s really impressive how efficient Davis is with the shots he takes the sheer volume. A player who has just gotten better and better over three years, Davis has hit an entirely new level this season. A guy who can go get a bucket, Davis is a tremendous isolation scorer. He just toyed with defenders all night, created space off the dribble, and let it fly with a quick trigger. Also a good athlete, Davis can get out and run in transition. He’s an above the rim threat and has a strong upper body to take contact. Not known for his defense, Davis was pretty tenacious on that end of the floor on Thursday and came up with a couple steals. Holding scholarship offers from Bryant and Arkansas State, Davis should see a run of mid-major offers come his way this spring.
Will Garlock Will Garlock 6'11" | C Middleton | 2025 State #204 Nation WI – 2025 – C – Middleton
The days of Garlock being able to get a 1-on-1 post touch are over. Teams aren’t going to let the 6-foot-11 center get comfortable down on the block. Despite playing in a ton of traffic, Garlock still came up with 23 points in Thursday’s loss. A very well-rounded post prospect, Garlock does just about everything well. He’s quite comparable to Will Hornseth Will Hornseth 6'8" | PF De Pere | 2024 State #208 Nation WI in that regard — just bigger. Garlock is technically sound and understands post position. He has terrific hands, passes out of the double teams exceptionally well, controls the glass, protects the rim, and moves laterally maybe as well as any 6-foot-11 player in the country. Continue to see strides here with his outside shot and handles. Think in time, Garlock is going to be a big mismatch problem. His floor at the collegiate level is likely an excellent defender and rebounder.
Tyler Haney Tyler Haney 6'1" | CG Sun Prairie | 2025 State WI – 2025 – PG – Sun Prairie West
Haney does a really good job of running this Sun Prairie West team. A strong, athletic guard who can handle against pressure, navigate into tight areas, and push the pace in transition, thought Haney was a big x-factor for the Wolves. The 6-foot-1 guard gets the ball where it needs to go, always has his head up, and puts his teammates into position to score. Averaging 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game as a junior, Haney also shoots it well from distance. If you go under a screen or leave him to help against dribble penetration, Haney can make teams pay.
Marquise Walker Marquise Walker 6'3" | SF Middleton | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G/W – Middleton
The Cardinals trailed most of the game, often by double digits. It was Walker who gave them a big boost and helped Middleton have a chance to steal the game late. Averaging 7.1 ppg entering Thursday, Walker came up with 12 points against SPW. Walker was smooth in the open floor, evading defenders and gliding to the rim. A plus-length wing, Walker is listed at 6-foot-3, but plays closer to 6-foot-5. Definitely a kid with high upside, Walker has a frame you can stack a lot of weight on without sacrificing his athletic ability. Think he’s a potential late bloomer as a senior with his slashing ability.
