Prep Hoops Indiana Daily (1/19) – Friday Night Games to Watch

Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from the game of the night featuring Class 3A #1 Brebeuf Jesuit and Class 3A #2 Guerin Catholic. However, there are plenty of other games we will have our eyes on across the state. Let's dive in and take a look at the Friday night games to watch in the Hoosier state. They will go up against a Franklin Central squad tonight that had won five straight games on their way to a surprise trip to the Marion County Tournament championship game before falling to Class 4A #1 Lawrence North. He is averaging over 25 points per game this season and currently sits at 2,136 career points. Brebeuf Jesuit is 8-4, but three recent losses were by a combined 9 points to the likes of Warren Central, Zionsville, and Ben Davis. Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1278639' first='Evan' last='Haywood'] and senior running mate [player_tooltip player_id='1275802' first='Reis' last='Butcher'] lead the way for the Braves. As for #2 Guerin Catholic, senior guard Rob Sorensen, junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'], and senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1547883' first='Dylan' last='Murans'] have led them to three straight wins including handing Cathedral their first loss of the season. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1386181' first='Jack' last='Cherry'] is expected back in the lineup as well after an injury sustained during football season. Whiteland got the best of the Grizzly Cubs in the Johnson County 67-64, but will have to turn right around and face Eastern Kentucky signee [player_tooltip player_id='1275780' first='Micah' last='Davis'] and company again this evening. Whiteland, winners of seven of their last nine games, is now 10-6 on the season while Franklin is 10-2.
