Watford does what he has to help his team win games. Here with the Bruins, he plays out of position and looks to play down in the post. Watford brings a very good skill set and versatility to the floor for the Bruins. Jordan constantly brings production to wherever he’s on the floor for his team. Today, unfortunately the Bruins fell short to a very good Wilson HS team 66-63.
Watford finished with 26 points on 10-15 shooting from the floor.
Thompson continues to climb up with his play this season for the Tigers. Tristan just brings constant effort and production to the hardwood. Thompson and Watford both Grassroots team this past season had some fun going against one another here today. Tristan finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals in the win.
Tristan makes himself available at all times if it’s handling the rock, defending somebody out on the perimeter or inside the paint. He really plays the game to the fullest at all times.
Tindal didn’t light up the scoring column here today for the Knights. Teon can really affect a game down low in the paint. Tindal will challenge shots all day long with his quick leaping ability. Teon scored 4 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and swatted away 9 shots.
He really looks to change a game down low in the paint with his shot blocking ability. Teon runs the floor like a deer and really likes to use the long outlet after claiming the ball off the glass. Look for his recruitment to start making a move upward with his play.
Schofield got a slow start after picking up 3 quick fouls here today. Cedric plays his best basketball around the cup area for the Raiders. Schofield will look to flush back putbacks on the glass while playing around the cylinder. Cedric fills the lane nicely in transition at times and really looks to be figuring things out at times with his overall play. Schofield played last season at nearby Eau Claire HS.
Sumpter brings good versatility to the floor for the Raiders. Brian was caught today handling the rock, connecting on some short mid-range jumpers and playing inside-out at times. He really does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after rebounding it off the glass.
Sumpter will look to challenge shots on the defensive end with his quick leaping ability and length. Can the Raiders make a turn around here in the 2nd half of the season moving forward?
Davis has been on terror this past month or so with his play for the Knights. Shannon will certainly be a Stock-Riser moving forward here at Prep Hoops. He finished with 22 points in the win today over Irmo HS. Davis on 4 three-pointers in the win.
Shannon has the ability to create his own shot and for others with his play. He plays the game with a good deal of confidence, and it really sees to suit him perfect on the court.
