We’ve gone over Top Guards, Top Forwards, and Underclassmen to Know, now let’s dive a little deeper and get to know some more standouts from the event. These players were key guys on their teams and provided solid play in a lot of different ways. Here are 30 more prospects to know from the tournament.
Grant Ellison | 2024 | La Salle (OR) | 8.3 pts 3.8 reb
Ellison was a big force down low at times, powering through players in the post, and showing off good footwork and timing with his moves inside. He’s a broad kid who fought hard and used his body well to create space at the rim.
Chance White Chance White 6'0" | CG Roosevelt | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Roosevelt (OR) | 14.5 pts 2 reb 1.5 stl
White was another key guy for the champions of the invite, shooting consistently from outside (7-14 3PT), cashing in at the line (13-15 FT, 86.7%), and scoring in double-digits in every game. He’s an elusive player with the ball and was able to create a lot of action around the paint coming in from the perimeter.
Jeremiah Harshman Jeremiah Harshman 6'1" | PG Annie Wright | 2025 State WA | 2025 | Annie Wright (WA) | 11.3 pts 2.3 ast 2 stl
The Annie Wright PG lit it up against South Medford, going for 20 points 3 assists 2 rebounds, and 2 steals while shooting 8-13 FG (61.5%). He was one of the louder voices on the floor, getting his guys into position, always thinking ahead during play and stoppages, and was able to score efficiently inside the arc (15-22 2FG, 68.2%), scoring 10+ points in three of their games.
Reggie Lester Reggie Lester 6'2" | SG Annie Wright | 2025 State WA | 2025 | Annie Wright (WA) | 11.5 pts 2.8 reb 1.5 stl
Lester’s a highly versatile offensive threat, scoring 11+ points in three of their games while shooting 21-34 FG (4-7 3PT) and providing another player who can create his own shots. He’s pretty intuitive with the ball, finding vulnerabilities in the defense, using his body well going to the rim, and plays tough defense.
Parker Ackerman | 2024 | Canby (OR) | 4.5 pts 2.5 ast
The Canby guard is a physically strong player who was able to push the ball in transition and make quick decisions to find open teammates. He dished out 4 assists twice in the tournament and provided some steady play from the backcourt.
Kaylan Graham | 2025 | Smoky Hill (CO) | 10 pts 3.8 reb 2 ast 2 stl
The 6-foot-5 junior is a strong wing who attacked the rim with intention and used his size and athleticism to burst through defenders and finish with force and finesse at the cup. He was able to mix in some outside shots too, and applied that length to the defensive end racking up 2+ steals in three of their games.
Kayden Greene Kayden Greene 6'2" | SG Eastside Catholic | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Eastside Catholic (WA) | 7.8 pts 2 reb
Greene was the fourth leading scorer for the Crusaders and did most of it behind the 3-point line, putting in 1.8 3PTs per game. Overall, he shot 7-13 behind the arc (53.8%) and was a huge boost in the championship game going for 12 points. He was only 2-4 from 3PT during the game but was fouled twice behind the arc, converting on a 4-point play and sinking in three more freebies.
Alex Elston Alex Elston 6'1" | PG Eastside Catholic | 2025 State WA | 2025 | Eastside Catholic (WA) | 11.8 pts 2 reb 1 stl
Elston was really solid throughout the tournament, playing strong at the point and only giving up three turnovers throughout the entire event. He came through especially clutch in their game against Davis scoring 14 points and hitting three 3PT shots, and converting three takes in a row toward the end of the game to help seal the win. He was second on the team in scoring (11.8 ppg) and shot 65.5% from inside the arc (14-20).
Nate Krohn Nate Krohn 6'4" | SG Eastside Catholic | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Eastside Catholic (WA) | 10.5 pts 5 reb 1.8 stl
The third leading scorer for Eastside Catholic, Krohn was a contributor across the board chipping in points, rebounding at a high rate, and recording 2+ steals in three of their games. He played some physical games and was able to muscle through defenders at the rim while also picking his spots from long-range. Overall, he shot 18-22 FG (81%) and 5-6 3PT (83.3%).
TJ Marshall | 2024 | Annie Wright (WA) | 8 pts 5.5 reb
Marshall is an important player for the Gators who plays with great hustle on both ends. He was fourth on the team in scoring, tied for the lead in rebounds, and makes clutch defensive plays that don’t always show up in the stat book. He had two games of 10+ points and 6+ rebounds and brings a lot of heart to the floor.
Jaden Peters | 2024 | Prosser (WA) | 6.5 pts 2 reb
Peters was another Prosser Mustang I wasn’t familiar with but showed up in a big way. His shooting was super consistent (11-14 2FG, 71.4%) and he was able to get it done spotting up, working off the dribble in the mid-range, and converting some tough buckets at the rim. He was a reliable third option for Prosser who forced defenders to play tight with the threat of his jumper.
Kamar Benbo Kamar Benbo 6'3" | SG Parkrose | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Parkrose (OR) | 3.8 pts 3 ast
Benbo is a big, strong guard who was able to do some impressive playmaking, logging 3+ assists in three of their games but could have had more had some of his teammates been ready for some quick passes off his drives. He’s a guy with some good slashing ability but didn’t end up taking a ton of shots. He also showed some quick hands defensively, racking up a steal in three of their four games.
Julius Blair Julius Blair 5'10" | CG Parkrose | 2025 State OR | 2025 | Parkrose (OR) | 12.3 pts 2.5 reb
Blair is a shifty guard who provided a good offensive spark for the Broncos and was a guy who really got things going from 3-point. He ended the tournament 12-18 from 3PT (66.7%) and was the most consistent scorer for Parkrose, notching 10+ points in every game.
Leo Marshall Leo Marshall 6'0" | SG Parkrose | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Parkrose (OR) | 13.5 pts 3 reb 1 stl
Another Parkrose guard who competed all tournament, Marshall led the team in scoring while committing just two turnovers all tournament. He exploded in their final game, dropping 29 points with 3 rebounds 2 assists, and 2 steals, shooting 10-11 FG (6-6 3PT).
Gavin Perdue Gavin Perdue 6'6" | SF Skyview | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Skyview (WA) | 8 pts 2.5 reb
The tall wing from Skyview was a shooter to keep tabs on for most of the tournament. He ended 9-19 (47.4%) from three and was fourth on his team in scoring. Skyview has a lot of slashing players and interior scorers, so his ability to stretch the floor and be ready to shoot off his teammates’ drives was crucial for the Storm.
Trevin Slagel | 2024 | Canby (OR) | 8.8 pts 3.3 reb
Slagel brought big energy to the invite and was a post/wing that played much bigger than 6-foot-4. He’s strong, fought for deep position inside, and ate up space with big steps and strong moves to the hoop. He was a pretty steady player inside, sinking 11-18 2FG (61.1%) and drew a number of trips to the foul line where he shot 81.3% (13-16).
Miles Daly Miles Daly 6'7" | C Oregon City | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Oregon City (OR) | 8 pts 5.8 reb 1.5 stl
The 6-foot-7 post is a big kid who seeks out contact around the rim. His best game was against Parkrose where he got close to a double-double (8 points 9 rebounds), swiped 4 steals, and bullied his way to 6 offensive rebounds. He finished the tourney third in scoring on his team, first in rebounds, and tied for first in steals. The big man worked hard to establish a physical presence inside.
Blake Garza Blake Garza 6'6" | SF Davis | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Davis (WA) | 10.8 pts 6.5 reb 1.5 stl
Davis finished the tournament with a 3-1 record and Garza’s length and activity were a big factor in the Pirates’ success. He scored 11+ points and grabbed 5+ rebounds in three of their games, with his best performance coming against Canby. He tallied 16 points 8 rebounds 5 steals and 1 block, while shooting 8-10 from the field against the Cougars. He’s a long, athletic kid who does a great job floating around off the ball to create rebounding lanes and use his quickness to beat guys to the ball.
Aidan Mushahwar | 2024 | Rancho Solano (AZ) | 8.3 pts 4 reb
Mushahwar was a huge piece defensively for the undersized Mustangs. At 6-foot-4, he was their tallest starter and played big minutes guarding some effective posts throughout the tournament. A lot of what he brought to the floor didn’t show up in the scorebook but he was still an efficient player on offense, shooting 65% from the field while frustrating opposing forwards on the other end. Great activity on the glass and a hustler in transition, the senior forward showed a lot of toughness and grit down in Portland.
Brandon Lee Brandon Lee 6'0" | CG Davis | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Davis (WA) | 10.8 pts 3.8 reb 2.8 ast 2.3 stl
Lee was kind of a jack of all trades throughout the invite. He was able to shoot effectively from 3-point (40%), dished out a team-high 2.8 apg, and was a factor defensively leading the Pirates with 2.3 spg. Lee also scored at least 13 points in three of their games and helped keep defenses honest with another scorer and playmaker to pay attention to in addition to Cesar Hernandez Cesar Hernandez 6'0" | PG Davis | 2025 State WA .
Vance Sheffield Vance Sheffield 6'0" | CG La Salle College Prep | 2025 State OR | 2025 | La Salle (OR) | 12.8 pts 2 stl
Second on the team in scoring, first in steals, Sheffield was able to provide a big boost on the perimeter for his Falcons throughout the tourney. His best game came against Parkrose – 18 points 2 rebounds 5 steals, 7-12 FG (2-4 3PT). But he was a factor from deep in every game, sinking 2.8 3PT/G while shooting 55%. The junior guard was in double figures in three of their games and was a constant threat on the perimeter.
Dylan Westermeyer Dylan Westermeyer 6'6" | SF Oregon City | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Oregon City (OR) | 13.5 pts 4.8 reb 2.3 ast 1.3 stl
Westermeyer is a big guard (6-foot-6) who handled a lot of point guard duties and had his hands on the ball a lot. That high usage led to him finishing second on the team in scoring, second in assists, and third in rebounding and steals. It seemed pretty easy for him to find his shot whenever he wanted it and was also a mainstay at the free-throw line while shooting 90% (18-20) from the stripe.
Kory McClure Kory McClure 5'11" | CG Prosser | 2024 State WA | 2024 | Prosser (WA) | 13.5 pts 4.3 reb 2.5 ast 2.3 stl
McClure was second on Prosser in points, rebounds, assists, and steals, but led the Mustangs in shooting from three with two 3PM per game while shooting 47.1% from deep. He really excelled in their game against Tigard, scoring 20 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, while making 8-11 FG (4-5 3PT). He’s a guy that plays pretty calm and poised on the ball and was able to knock down to deep shots to help stretch the defense and open up lanes to the hoop.
Matthew Sitler | 2024 | Camas (WA) | 7.5 pts 3.8 reb
The Camas forward provided some physicality and activity in and around the paint. He had some really good follows on the offensive glass and was able to get to the line a fair amount by attacking the middle and staying strong with the ball through contact. Stitler got the line in every game and made 2+ free throws in three, finishing the tourney 8-10 at the stripe. With guards who can really shoot, there were bound to be opportunities on the offensive glass and Stitler had the work rate to capitalize, notching 1+ o-boards per game.
Lorenzi Contreas | 2025 | Smoky Hill (CO) | 5.3 pts 3.5 ast 2.8 reb 1.3 stl
The Smoky Hill guard did a bit of it all, scoring, assisting, rebounding, and D-ing up. He was basically ready to contribute wherever was needed, scoring 8+ points twice, snagging 4+ rebounds twice, dishing 4+ assists twice, and also recording 2 steals twice. He’s a lightning-quick guard who was able to get some good penetration and use some quick, aggressive moves to help out across the board.
Utrillo Morris Utrillo Morris 5'8" | PG Roosevelt | 2024 State OR | 2024 | Roosevelt (OR) | 6.5 pts 3 reb 2.8 ast 2.8 stl
Morris is another quick, aggressive guard who made little plays all over the floor throughout the invite. He was a big-time irritant to ballhandlers, swiping 2 steals in every game and three in three of them. For Morris, the real impact came with the timing of his plays, particularly creating turnovers that led to quick buckets. But he was also effective getting penetration and showed off a big bag and an array of moves to finish around defenders at the rim.
Matthew Quinlan | 2025 | Rancho Solano (AZ) | 9.5 pts
Quinlan played some really tough games and though he’s not a real big or physical guard, he knows how to attack, create space, and handle the rock. He played with great control on the ball, was in the right spots defensively, and showed one of the stronger wills to compete of anyone at the tournament. I was fortunate to see his best game of the tournament against La Salle, where he dropped in 5-11 3PT and scored 22 points. He was a reliable ballhandler and dealt with pressure well, committing just one turnover all tournament.
Gavin Packer Gavin Packer 5'10" | CG Skyview | 2025 State WA | 2025 | Skyview (WA) | 5.3 pts 2.8 reb 2.3 ast
Packer’s impact didn’t necessarily reflect itself in the scorebook but he was an important player on both ends of the floor for Skyview. He’s a smaller guard but packs a lot of explosiveness in that 5-foot-10 frame. His versatility is demonstrated by two stats; he led his team in assists and was tied for the team lead in blocks, registering one block in three of their games. He’s a guy who can get inside the defense and get to the rim but also showed an intense desire to compete on the defensive end and when the games mattered most.
Ray Gasaway | 2024 | Smoky Hill (CO) | 10.8 pts 4.5 reb 2 stl
The 6-foot tall guard showed off some big bounce against Skyview as one of a couple of guards on the Buffaloes getting on the end of some alley-oops. Gasaway was also one of Smoky Hill’s most efficient players all tournament. While he was second on the team in scoring, he was also second on the team in 2PT FG% (13-16, 81.3%) and only committed two turnovers throughout the invite. He was explosive, crafty, and brought that to the defensive end while racking up 1+ steal in every game.
Rey Daniels | 2024 | Southridge (FL) | 14.3 pts 3.3 reb 1 stl
One of two players for Southridge to average double-digit scoring, Daniels had a huge game in their opener against Prosser, going off for 30 points on 10-13 FG (4-6 3PT), and making 6-7 FT. He was highly efficient inside the arc, shooting 65.2% (15-23 2FG) during the invite. Daniels got a lot of stuff going to the rack and his quick burst had defenders playing catch-up most of the time which helped him get to the line for 17 free throws.
