It wasn’t a huge scoring game for White – just one three in the first half – but the Roosevelt senior played with good energy on both ends and showed off his natural quickness and desire to push the ball up court. Currently undecided on his future college plans, we’ll post an update on him soon.

Wrapping up our current top ten is White, making it three Roosevelt Roughriders at the top of the class. The six foot guard had another outstanding spring/summer on the club basketball scene and while he remains one of the top scoring threats in the entire state, got a chance to play and develop as a point guard as well. The senior is on the cusp of receiving his first offer, which wouldn’t surprise us if it comes during the season as Roosevelt hopes to march toward the Chiles Center.

One of the most talented offensive players in the camp was White and he put it all on display. Barely anyone could keep up with his quick first step to the hoop as he glided and used his athleticism and hang time to finish around the rim. At times, the senior got hot from three-point range and was able to hit jumpers on the move, specifically using his step-back. Out of everyone who came into the camp without an offer, we could see White potentially earning one from his performance.

Attacked the basket with quick drives and crafty finishing. He scored 9 points in the game I watched. Most were off the dribble drive but he missed a few tough ones after getting past the defense. He has great quickness and the ability to finish over bigger defenders. He also hit a couple mid-range shots, with srep backs and spin moves. He is fast and can get downhill He also drove and kicked out to open teammates. His game is built around the quickness that he displays with the ball in his hands.rn
