#322 – Offensive-minded 6-foot combo guard. Very capable scorer who was at best with the ball in his hands taking his defender off the dribble, using footwork and a number of crafty moves to get to the hoop or free himself for lefty fadeaway mid-range jumpers. Constantly kept defenders guessing and off-balance and was very good at following up his own misses. Capable passer who found teammates cutting to the basket for easy scores, especially streaking down the floor on the break.

The 6-foot combo guard impressed observers with his shiftiness with the basketball in his hands, keeping defenders off balance in creating his own shot, hitting fadeaway lefty mid-range Js or using his length to finish at the hoop. A JV player at Central Catholic last season, Songolo will be a junior at Roosevelt this upcoming season.

Franklin lost a lot from their roster due to graduation/transfer but one incoming newcomer that will help out a ton is Songolo. The rising junior, who played JV at Central Catholic last season, is a lanky guard that makes his living getting to the basket and using his length to finish in creative ways. In a loss to Oregon City, he was near unstoppable getting into the lane for scores, finishing with a team-high 18 points.
