Krohn is an all-around player that has a huge motor. He is in it on every possession, playing strong, fast, and hard-nosed ball. He brings intensity on defense, fights for every board like it’s his last, and communicates through the entirety of the game. But he’s not just effort, Krohn has a long frame and is a weapon offensively with a smooth jumper from mid-range and slick passing.

Player Comp Louis Grante-HallidayrnI was re-watching some film on Krohn when it struck me how similar his game looks to his former teammate, Grante-Halliday. Given that Krohn isn’t quite as tall or thick as Grante-Halliday, they still approach the game with a similar mindset, aggressive but always open to making the right play. What made Grante-Halliday a special player was his ability to pass, hit the three, and play bully ball on smaller defenders. Krohn can do that too. He passes extremely well from both the high post and wings, he has a good jump shot that isn’t lights-out but still consistent, and he’s a ferocious driver. He also has a little bit of dog in him, battling inside on the glass and muscling up shots at the rim through physical defense. Krohn is a competitor and will be a key guy for Eastside Catholic this season.

Krohn is a bit of an x-factor in my mind as he can do a lot of things on the court that often go unnoticed. He’s a stout and versatile defender. He hits the glass hard, doesn’t let the ball stick on offense, and is capable of getting those tough buckets near the rim. I see him as being the glue guy this season, being a contributor in the backcourt, wings, and inside. He’s a solid all-around player that has a good chance to start this season.
