Rogers is a skilled post who made his biggest impact working on the offensive glass and helping to stretch the floor with his midrange jumper. He led the entire field shooting 68.8% from the floor and 90.9% on 2FG. That efficiency and impact came not just from having the touch to pull guys away from the rim, but by working hard to get up and down the floor, put himself in great spots early in offensive possessions, and by cleaning up a few second chance opportunities.
Kason has legitimate size and strength on the court and could be a player who could see some varsity action this season. His athleticism stands out as he easily throws down big dunks in transition and off the drive if given enough space. His footwork helps him get open looks and be able to fight for rebounds.
Rogers was another top performer who was just on a different level physically. At 6-foot-6, he had a decent height advantage that allowed him to shoot over defenders, which he was clearly comfortable doing, but he also was one of the strongest and most physical players at the event. He was clever enough to make a move and get an angle on defenders, but also nasty enough to bully his way through players once he had that edge. He was a constant factor throughout the showcase, and clearly one of the top performers of the day.
Rogers is a strong kid at 6-foot-6 who displayed a good foundation of size and skills to build off of. Played through contact and even dealt out some punishment with his drives, but also had some creative dribble moves and footwork to add some variance to his paint takes. Dropped in some outside shots too and showed flashes of his passing ability to find cutters.
One of the bigger kids who will be at the event, Rogers stands at 6-foot-6 and while he can play big around the paint, he’s shown the skills to take his game further out. He’s got the size and skill to be a big name for the Crusaders down the line.
