He recently hit the 1,000 point mark in his high school career and as of this writing is leading the Millers with 17.3 points and 3.7 assists per game. At the lead guard position, Fine is a bigger sized guard that handles the ball well with great court vision and awareness. He has also proven that he can score at all three levels, as well. look for Fine this week as Noblesville host Hamilton Southeastern (1/26) and Guerin Catholic (1/27) this week.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65ae9228e05ff"} /-->

It started last summer with King where he proved to be a sure-fire D1 one player with his size at 6'4 and his ability to score at all three levels consistently. He is an all-around type of player with all the physical tools you could ask for. As of this writing, King is averaging a near double-double with 21.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He is also shooting 56% from the field. You can watch him this week when Anderson host Daleville (1/23), travels to McCutcheon (1/26), and travels to Lawrence Central (2/27).","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65ae9228e0665"} /-->

Williams is easily one of the most naturally athletic players in the 2026 class and plays the game with great bounce. He shoots it well from three-point range, has the athleticism to get to the rim off of the dribble, and is really hard to contain in the open floor. Overall, Williams is a playmaker. He is currently averaging 10.1 points per game this season. He will look to help the Cougars to extend their current winning streak when they host Castle (1/26) and travel to Columbus East (1/27) this week.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65ae9228e06b8"} /-->

3 Teams

Lawrence North (4A) - It is week 10 of the 2023-24 season and just like most of us imagined, the Wildcats are still undefeated at 15-0 up to this point. It really is no shock that Lawrence North remains unbeaten considering they have arguably the best backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1158213' first='Kobi' last='Bowles'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275769' first='Myles' last='Baker'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] along with the ultra-talented sophomore frontcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2252564' first='Kai' last='McGrew']. Lawrence North has absolutely dominated most of every team this season and they have such a strong chance to finish out the season undefeated as they look to make a state championship run. They host New Palestine (1/24) and Hammond Morton (1/27) this week.

Yorktown (3A) - Class 3A has been a hard one to figure out this year as it looks extremely wide-open up to this point. One of the more surprising teams out of that class is the Yorktown Tigers who come into this week with an 8-6 record. For the Tigers, it all starts with senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578430' first='Kieran' last='Tewari'] who leads the team with 15.1 points a game but fellow senior Jacob Grimm is also averaging double-figures at 10.6 points per game as well. While it has been a little inconsistent at times for Yorktown this year, they do have good wins over schools such as Greenwood Christian, Anderson, Wapahani and Delta. Yorktown is a team you don't want to play come post-season time. They travel to Winchester (1/23), host New Palestine (1/26) and travel to Carroll (Fort Wayne) (1/27) this week.

Paoli (2A) - When it comes to Class 2A in southern Indiana, one of the favorites to make a deep postseason run is the Rams out of Paoli. The main guys down in Paoli is 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297025' first='Fletcher' last='Cole'], just like is has been for the past few years. The Rams have made a strong case as a top five team in Class 2A and sit at an impressive 10-2 record. You can watch the Rams this week when they host both Corydon Central (1/26) and Forest Park (1/27) this week.

3 Matchups

Cathedral (4A) vs Crispus Attucks (4A) – Jan. 22nd, 7:30 pm - Indianapolis City Tournament Championship

There is not a bigger game in the state this week and luckily for us, we don't have to wait too long to see this one. After what was a great Indianapolis City Tournament, we have the matchup that we wanted between Cathedral and Crispus Attucks. As it was last year, these two meet again and the amount of talent on the floor is almost as high as it was last season. Both teams have some real depth on their rosters and two of the best 2025s we have in the state with [player_tooltip player_id='1297019' first='Dezmon' last='Briscoe'] (Attucks) and [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] (Cathedral). There is not really much 'selling' you have to do with this game as the hype pretty much writes itself. I expect this to be a close game with Attucks just having a little more to give than what Cathedral does. The Tigers win this Indy City Tournament once again.

Bedford North Lawrence (4A) at Jeffersonville (4A) - Jan. 26th, 7:30 pm

This could be one of the more competitive games in southern Indiana this week. The BNL Stars have been one of the more surprising teams in class 4A this season and are making a strong case as the best team in the Hoosier Hills Conference, but the talent at Jeffersonville is undeniable with the 2025 trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1373104' first='P.J.' last='Douglas'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1297093' first='Michael' last='Cooper']. For Bedford, the top guy for them this season has been junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1578453' first='Patric' last='Matson'], who is having a breakout year for the Stars. This game is going to be a fight throughout but if Jeffersonville plays like the team with the most talent, they will win. Don't count out the Stars and their defense, however.

Fort Wayne Wayne (4A) at Fort Wayne Blackhawk (2A) - Jan. 27th, 7:30 pm

There is going to be some high level talent on the floor in this one and is a battle of arguably the two top teams in the fort Wayne area. The Braves of Blackhawk come into this game 12-4 on the year but will face their toughest challenge with Wayne coming in their house at a 12-3 record. For Wayne, they have one of the best backcourts in the state with [player_tooltip player_id='1158193' first='Jevon' last='Lewis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297001' first='Chase' last='Barnes'] but will face one of the best overall players in 2025 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1364589' first='Kellen' last='Pickett']. This will be a challenge for both teams, but I give the slgiht edge to Wayne here to get a big road win.
