Tyler Boesel Tyler Boesel 6'5" | SF Wauwatosa West | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SF – Wauwatosa West
Think Boesel is going to earn a ranking this winter. Maybe one of the most improved players in the state, Boesel was everywhere during a high-level matchup. Boesel got himself going early by running the floor hard and making himself available to teammates for easy transition buckets. Boesel did a little bit of everything on Saturday, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and a block. A swiss army knife that can defend multiple positions, slash from the high post, run the floor, distribute the basketball, and rebound, Boesel just kept showing up on Saturday.
Jalen Brown Jalen Brown 6'5" | SF Wauwatosa West | 2027 State WI – 2027 – SF – Wauwatosa West
Like Brown as a versatile wing/forward who can even play a little point. Think he’s got the potential to be an intriguing matchup problem, but also a prospect who can serve as a decision maker on the floor. Really liked some of his passes and playmaking ability, both in the halfcourt and in the open floor. Defensively, Brown is a kid who can guard various positions at 6-foot-5. He spent some time on Whitnall’s point guard even and came up with a steal. Brown looks like an all-around player. He knocked down two 3-pointers, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out three assists. He would finish with 14 points in 24 minutes of action on Saturday.
Myles Herro Myles Herro 6'2" | PG Whitnall | 2025 State #237 Nation WI – 2025 – PG – Whitnall
When it looked as if Whitnall was going to get run out of the gym, that’s when Herro took over. The junior guard had all 21 of his points in the first half. After halftime, Tosa West started doubling him off ball screens and taking the ball out of Herro’s hands. He also suffered what appeared to be a minor ankle injury later on as well. He only averaged around six points per game as a sophomore, but now Herro is able to show what he can do as a scorer. Going in the pick n’ roll and getting a matchup he liked, Herro sized defenders up and went to work. The 6-foot-2 guard has developed a sweet pull-up game from both mid and 3-point range. When he needs to get into the paint, Herro can change directions on the ball and lose people in the weeds. Averaging 22 points per game this season, think Herro is going to see a lot more Division 1 attention come his way this spring.

Jack Lutz Jack Lutz 6'0" | SG Whitnall | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G – Whitnall
With Herro injured, Lutz took control for the Falcons in the second half. Really like Lutz’s mid-range pull-up game. He utilizes changes of direction and speed at a high level and knows how to get defenders leaning/off balance before he goes into his shot. Scoring 19 points, Lutz was 6-of-15 from the floor, which included some blocks from the opposition. Saw Lutz adjust as the game went on, able to float shots high off the glass to evade shot blockers. A guard with a scoring mentality and killer instinct, Lutz can keep his foot on the gas pedal once he’s seen a few shots go down. If he gets even a little bit of confidence, it can be a long night for Lutz’s defender.

Kai Rogers Kai Rogers 6'10" | C Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #41 Nation WI – 2025 – C – Wauwatosa West
Rogers dominated the paint on both ends…as per usual. The 6-foot-10 center finished with 19 points (9-14), 19 rebounds, five blocks, three steals, and two assists. What sets Rogers apart, aside from his measurables, he doesn’t get taken out of games. Teams can zone or double him, but Rogers’ ability to play away from the rim, be active off the ball, and impact the games in ways that go beyond scoring make him a top 50-100 prospect nationally. Showing signs of maturation, Rogers doesn’t panic when he’s catching the ball in high traffic areas. He can pass out and even score efficiently out of the double teams — keeping the ball high and not rushing his footwork/progressions. Rogers wiped away countless points for Whitnall on Saturday, blocking/altering shots on the interior. Almost every time the Falcons challenged him at the rim, it backfired.
