Here are the underclassmen that stood out along with the list of young players that competed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] of Maple Grove (6'4 fr). Baboucarr looked every bit the part of a player that we are going to be talking a ton about going forward. He is a very long and agile 6'4 and he looks like he will surely grow a lot more. He was active and vocal on defense and his effort was constant. He had four baskets, five rebounds three assists, a couple steals and a couple deflections. Ann will definitely be one of the top prospects in his class.

Drew Coleman of Holy Family (6'6 soph). Coleman made four of five shots showing off that face-up touch, provided ten points as that fourth option, grabbed five boards, and overall played that four option role very well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560830' first='Casey' last='Fliehe'] of Lakeville South (6'2 soph). Fliehe is a trusted player that works to defend and makes the right play offensively. He's a rare non flashy but tough and steady young guy that a big talented school team can utilize early. Casey had six boards, one score and a couple assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (6'1 soph). Mitchell scored a game high 19 in the Raiders win over Maple Grove mixing in three threes with attacks into a touch in over the top. He was able to get by the first defender and when he was able to get to space over the help he scored. Had a mid game lull but hit a clutch three late.

[player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] of Hopkins (6'0 soph). I would guess this was the toughest scoring game of Moore's varsity career missing 17 of 21 attempts from the field and 5 of 8 foul shots. What I liked was that Moore, while frustrated, still continued to attack. He created for others with his seven assists and Moore chased down nine rebounds often pushing them in transition. On a bad offensive night Moore still found several ways to contribute which says a lot about him.

Tre Moore of Hopkins (5'9 8th). Came off the Hopkins bench and scored three times including a three plus grabbed a couple boards and moved the ball for three assists. Good game in about ten minutes from such a young player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560826' first='Joel' last='Saah'] of Robbinsdale Armstrong (6'0 soph). Saah plays the combo guard role for the Falcons handling when Ware is off ball or sitting, playing off ball as a scoring option when Desmond is in. Attacked to score three times against Holy Family and grabbed five boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] of Eden Prairie (6'5 fr). Schlage's first half consisted of eight rebounds, one make, and pretty much running back and forth watching guards shoot. In the second half we got to see a bit more of his game: one dribble pull-up, beat Orono fours off the dribble, a couple active buckets, it led to an 11 point, 12 rebound double-double.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120499' first='Isaiah' last='Thom'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (6'4 soph). Isaiah knocked out a three, hit some foul shots, scored on the move, made the right passes, and rebounded some. Played his role well off the bench.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560851' first='Hamze' last='Yusuf'] of Eden Prairie (6'1 soph). When Eden Prairie started playing better team basketball it was Yusuf that led the way. He was defending with some good pressure, he moved the ball more and in return it came back to him more. Yusuf scored most of his 19 points late in the game including a pair of threes and perfect 8 of 8 foul shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121337' first='Kaden' last='Harney'] of Maple Grove (6'3 soph)

Keishon Jaron of Cretin-Derham Hall (6'0 soph)
