2027 Rankings Update: 5 Players To Know
Carson Crawford Carson Crawford 6'6" | SF Fleming Island | 2027 State FL | G | 2027 | Fleming Island | @crsncrwd12
2023 stats: 18.2 – 10.7 rebounds – 1.8 blocks
The talented freshman is leading the list in scoring per game and has his team off to an 8-2 start. Decent framed first-year prospect at 6-5, 175 pounds. He’s also crashing the board with determination, averaging over 10.0 rebounds good enough for a double-double per outing. Could be a double-double machine as he gets more comfortable as the season progresses.
Isaiah Jenkins Isaiah Jenkins 6'2" | CG Port Charlotte | 2027 FL | G/SF | 2027 | Port Charlotte |
Jenkins is another young freshman prospect who has been on the breakout list since the off-season. The rising 6-foot-2 freshman has a good build and understands how to use his body on the floor. He’s overall a good player at all three levels and gives maximum effort on the boards. Jenkins can get it done on the offensive side while displaying his under-the-radar skills in ISO sets or moving around to find his spots. In defense, Jenkins forces steals which result in easy buckets on the other end. He’s for sure one of the risers in the area and can be a focal piece on Port Charlotte’s squad for years to come.
Ayden “Skoot” Donald | G | 2027 | Tampa Bay Tech | @SkootDonald
2023 stats: 17.3 – 3.0 rebounds – 3.3 assists
Another speedy scoring threat who leads his team in the category per game as a freshman. The 5-9 TBT prospect is an electric small guard who makes things happen off the dribble with good quickness and decision-making. Like his ability to either pull up for midrange or drop in the floater. Will need to put on more weight to impact the defensive end but impressed with his ability to be a scoring threat for years to come.
Zain Majeed Zain Majeed 6'7" | SF IMG Academy | 2027 State FL | F | 2027 | IMG Academy | @zainmajeed_
Majeed is a physical 6-foot-7 product that can shoot and handle the rock but his overall game on the court is something that will take him to the next level. Already has the frame to dominate his peers but he’s also skilled with the ball in his hands and has decent ISO moves to find his spots. More than a few times was Majeed able to get by defenders and finish strong at the rim. Has a developing jumper and gets active on the boards. One of the more intriguing prospects in the 2027 class was a top standout no doubt.
