Fruita Monument
The forward was just about unstoppable in this game, getting to the rim at will. Often attacking a closeout through straight line drives, there are few opponents able to contest him outside of fouling or drawing a charge. His quick first step creates immediate advantages on driving lanes, where his bounce and strength make him a versatile finisher in the paint. Adept grabbing rebounds on either end of the floor, the forward has been a handful all season. While posting up or attacking downhill, he keeps his eyes up for kick out passes to shotmakers.
Highlights
An effective playmaker while handling the rock, Orchard possesses a high IQ on both ends of the floor. A quick decision maker on offense, he keeps his head up for bounce pass to backdoor cutters, effectively reading and reacting to defensive tendencies. Equally active on skip passes when opposing defenses heavily shade strong side, Orchard has no trouble creating good shots for teammates.
Highlights
Wells showed consistency knocking down threes off the catch, regardless of an incoming contest. The guard did well pushing the pace in transition, making himself available receiving or dishing outlet passes for teammates. Another aspect of impact has been his reactions in the passing lanes, staying high up to deflect the pass.

Weaver was excellent within his role, staying consistent at knocking down three point attempts alongside his constant energy on the glass. Although undersized, the guard was active crashing the glass for second chance opportunities.
Austin Reed
Austin Reed
A dependable perimeter shooter, opponents will be forced to make hard closeouts, potentially risking the guard to heat up from beyond.
Northfield
Hawthorne is a malleable defender whose wide reach and long strides allow him to cover plenty of ground on contests. Particularly effective deflecting passes, the wing created a few transition plays from his defensive presence. Another area of value has been his rebounding, eager to create chaos on the offensive glass. His production on spot-up jumpers in the mid-range has been dependable, taking advantage of space. Should a hard closeout approach, Hawthorne has become more consistent attacking downhill, drawing contact routinely at the rim.
Highlights
A sturdy guard, Michael brings a smooth game while handling the ball. Particularly effective drawing fouls at the rim, the senior guard is at his best attacking a closeout following the pump fake. If needed to get more creative with the ball, Michael showed flashes of hesitations and spin moves to create space in the paint and mid-range.
Walker hit some eye opening threes, possessing deep range on the shot off the catch. His gravity allowed him extra space on drives, most dependable when attacking a closeout while the defender is off-balance. Walker stepped mid-range attempts off a single dribble or went all the way to the rim for finishes through contests. Defensively, the junior guard was active deflecting passes and staying in low stance at the point of attack.
