Patterson has West Caldwell High off to a 5-1 start leading the backcourt attack. He’s produced 26.8 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 3.2 SPG and 2.3 APG in showing he can turn steals into easy offense just as well as his ability to rebound the basketball. He’s an electric 6-foot-1 guard that DI and DII programs in the region should get eyes on this season.
Petty is really starting to emerge as a combo guard that can score and distribute in the East Rutherford High backcourt. He’s currently producing 28.8 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 5.6 APG and 2.2 SPG after opening the season with a 44-point outburst against Stuart W. Cramer High in a one-point victory. He’s another electric guard with all-around skills that DI and DII programs in the region should get eyes on soon.
Vera has improved his all-around game with Northwood Temple Academy and it’s shown in his improved production as he’s posting 23.2 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.2 APG and 1.4 SPG through 13 games. The Eagles are 9-4 and 4-0 in conference action so far with Vera shooting 65 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep. He’s a strong-framed guard for DII programs in the region to take a look at.
Highlights
Kellen Karr Kellen Karr 6’5″ | SF North Lincoln | 2025 State NC is a big reason for North Lincoln High’s 6-2 start to the season as he’s a lot more polished as a playmaker and scoring the basketball. He’s averaging 18.4 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 6.1 APG and 2.3 SPG, showing he can utilize his 6-foot-6 frame in a variety of ways to make things happen. He already notched a triple-double against North Iredell with 37 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists back on Tuesday. DI and DII programs in the region would be wise to take a look!
JD Bowden JD Bowden 6’1″ | PG United Faith Christian Academy | 2025 State NC has United Faith Christian Academy playing well at 9-3 as he runs things at the point guard spot. He’s currently posted 16.3 PPG, 7.0 APG, 3.8 RPG and 1.3 SPG through their first 12 games as he shows off what he can do in the backcourt. At 6-foot-1, he’s got a nice feel for finding his scorers in space as evidenced by his assists production. He went for 29 points and 11 assists despite a 93-82 loss to Cannon School this past week as well. He’s another guard prospect in the state for DI and DII programs in the region to take a look at.
