Andrew Kretkowski Andrew Kretkowski 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2027 State NJ , 6’6 SF Rutgers Prep
Kretkowski has started his season off with a bang as he is averaging 20 points and nine rebounds a game in his first two games. The 6’6 wing has a good release on his jumper and rises up over smaller defenders. Kretkowski is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish above the rim. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Kretkowski is a talented, wing prospect who should continue to make plays for the Argonauts this season.
Mekhi Robertson Mekhi Robertson 6'3" | CG Life Center Academy | 2027 State NJ , 6’3 CG Life Center Academy
Robertson has been steady throughout the course of the season and should continue to make plays throughout the course of the season. The 6’3 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Robertson has a good touch on his floater and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He plays with good floor vision and can get deflections on the defensive end. Robertson is a long, guard prospect whose ability to score and facilitate the offense is something that will help his stock in a big way.
Micah Gordon Micah Gordon 5'10" | PG Plainfield | 2027 State NJ , 5’9 PG Plainfield
Gordon has started off his varsity career on fire as he has eclipsed 20 points in each of his first two games. The 5’9 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Gordon uses his handle to create space from his man and wastes little motion in his release. He is a good rebounder for a guard his size and has the ability to play off the ball as well. Gordon is a scoring guard prospect who should continue to light up the scoreboard this season.
Jalen Bell, 6’0 CG Egg Harbor
Bell has stepped up for the reigning South Jersey Group 4 winners as he currently leads the team in scoring. The 6’0 guard has a good release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Bell moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has a nice touch around the basket and does not mind contact. Bell is a prospect to watch in South Jersey as he looks to lead Egg Harbor back to the sectional title.
Anthony Gonzalez Anthony Gonzalez 6'1" | PG Union City | 2027 State NJ , 5’11 PG Union City
Gonzalez had a big debut game for the Eagles as he poured in 21 points on Saturday. The 5’11 guard plays with poise on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and can finish through contact. Gonzalez shoots the ball with confidence from distance and can also score in the mid-range. He pushes the ball well in transition and is an underrated defender. Gonzalez’s ability to score inside and out makes him a guard prospect to track throughout the 2023-24 season.
