, a major part of their backcourt rotation, which meant Robertson had to take on more of a playmaking role. If he maintains the level of production when Lundy returns, it’ll make for a formidable tandem moving forward. Robertson finished tough shots in the paint from difficult angles as he can contort his body just enough to get the ball to a spot where opposing shot blockers can’t reach. He brings a playground sort of feel when he gets downhill in that he adds some creativity to step-throughs, ball fakes or other actions that help rotating defenders freeze long enough quickly scoop a layup off the glass.
He was efficient, despite taking on a heavier on-ball presence and his defensive tools were loud as indicated by his 2.5 stocks (steals + blocks) per game. The 6-foot-3 combo guard scored 12 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists to add to a busy stat line.

Looking comfortable and confident in his return to the east coast, Robertson showed notable strides in his game across two hard-fought games for his SoCal Academy group. Known as an elite athlete in the backcourt, the Jersey native and St. Joe’s Prep (PA) transfer looks to be continuing to evolve into a more refined and efficient perimeter scorer. Robertson averaged 12 points in the two games, making more than half his shot attempts (including 4-for-10 from deep) while looking notably more poised within halfcourt structure. It’s rare to find prospects with Robertson’s athletic gifts who also boast such a well-balanced skillset, so the sky is the limit as he continues developing his feel for the game offensively.

Robertson is tailor made for this type of setting where his open-floor athleticism and 1-on-1 scoring prowess are both safe bets to shine through. He showed his scoring ability at all three levels including a handful of feathery pullup jumpers. Among the elite athletes in his class, Robertson made a number of highlights with explosive plays up near the rim on either end of the floor. His blend of skill and physical gifts make it clear why several high-majors have already extended offers.

Robertson used the April grassroots circuit to increase his recruiting stock to the point where he is now one of the hottest 2027 prospects in the state. The upswing in his recruiting stock continued last weekend at EYBL S2, as Robertson posted 14 points and 5 assists per contest. Robertson’s scoring skill set was extremely well balanced. His speed, athleticism, and elusive dribble moves enabled Robertson to produce points at the rim in the half-court as well as on the fast break. Robertson also blew past defenders, drew the help defense, and then delivered assists to cutters, the dunker spot and perimeter shooters. If a defender sagged off Robertson, he dialed up a three. Additionally, Robertson played with pace, swagger, and an endless amount of energy. On defense, Robertson was a menacing on ball presence.

After an impressive first year in the Philadelphia Catholic League, Robertson (10 ppg. & 5 rpg. in 2024-25) tipped off the spring grassroots circuit with Team Final by impressing at the MADE Hoops East Warm Up as well as the Jersey Jam Fest. At both of those events Robertson displayed a well-rounded skill set. Robertson’s trifecta of speed, athleticism, slick handles, and bounce made produced frequent transition baskets. Those same assets also enabled Robertson to blow past his defender for lay-ins on half-court possessions. Robertson flashed an accurate 3-point stroke too. Plus, Robertson demonstrated that he could deliver well-timed dimes, especially off the live dribble. College coaches will love the maximum effort Robertson puts in on the defensive end.

Robertson (10 ppg. & 5 rpg. in 2024-25) opened the spring grassroots circuit by proving that he was one of the most skilled prospects at the MADE Hoops East Warm Up. Robertson’s combination of speed, athleticism and hops enable him to thrive in the open court where he often finished with authority. Additionally, Robertson generated points off the dribble in the half-court by attacking the paint for buckets. On the rare occasion where the help defense cut off Robertson, he executed kick out passes to open shooters. If a defender sagged off him, Robertson knocked down threes. Robertson’s defensive efforts where commendable too.

The final piece to the puzzle for a senior-laden St. Joe’s Prep group looking to stamp a multiyear run with a title, Robertson came over shortly before the season from Life Center (NJ) and acquitted himself well with his athletic two-way play. A natural scorer, he was forced to take somewhat of a back seat but did well to condense his game down into increased structure and limited shot attempts. Robertson turned his attention to the floor game, where he made key impacts as a defender, rebounder, cutter, and secondary rim protector for an undersized Prep lineup. His dashes of floor-spacing and shot creation offered glimpses of the ultimate upside that he figures to display more of in a featured role in years to come, as there’s no doubting the long-term high-major potential here.

Another newcomer to make an immediate splash in the PCL, Robertson’s explosive athleticism and scoring ability translated over quickly after transferring over the bridge from Life Center. He played a background role alongside a senior-laden group, but consistently made his presence felt whether as a cutter, rebounder, defensive presence, or opportunistically creating shots for himself. Robertson showed real growth in terms of his feel and ability to play within structure. You won’t find many prospects his age with his athletic ability and motor who also possess the level of polish that he has as a scorer. It’s easy to see why high-major coaches have already come calling.
