Updated Class of 2026 Rankings – 6-10

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The start of the 2023-24 season is a little less than a month away and the Class of 2026 rankings have been updated and released. We recently took a look at the top five, here's a quick look at numbers six through ten.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1582935' first='Jemel' last='Baker'], Benson</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Baker didn't play last year at Grant before transferring to Benson but based on what we've seen, he is bound to make a huge splash for the Techmen. At 6-foot-4, he's long and athletic and has the ability to score in multiple ways. In both the PrepHoops Top 250 Expo and in fall league, we noticed his explosiveness, especially in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2245263' first='Syrius' last='Owens'], Roosevelt</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A newcomer to the 2026 rankings, Owens immediately catches your eye because he's 6-foot-6, long, and rangy. This summer and fall with Roosevelt, he also showed some ball skills to go along with those physical attributes, and while there's no question he'll need to add strength to his frame, that will come. He's bound to make an impact in the rotation with the Roughriders this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1582929' first='Keion' last='James Adell'], Grant</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>James Adell was promoted to varsity during the season his freshman season and became a solid rotation player in the backcourt. He's got good strength for a backcourt performer and can help out on the boards, but it skilled with his ball-handling and passing to play at the point. He'll need to shake off some rust from football season but should be a key guy for brand new head coach Sean Brownhill.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1787373' first='Jkobi' last='Nicholson'], Mountainside</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nicholson got some varsity time late in the season for Mountainside and should see himself as more of a varsity guy in 2023-24. The 6-foot-1 guard is strong with the basketball and has the ability to overpower defenders off the dribble and finish around the hoop. The lefty got good experience playing AAU basketball with the Oregon Prospects this summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1653212' first='Kareem' last='Artharee'], Gresham</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jumping into the top ten in this update is Artharee, who is bound to make big leaps as a sophomore at Gresham.
