Holt is a sharpshooter from downtown that needs very little space to get his shot off. The lefty knows where his spots are and how to get to them effectively for high-percentage shots. He has deep range well beyond the three-point line. Holt can put the ball on the floor and work the midrange game, using his 6’2″ frame to shoot over smaller defenders. He can easily finish around the rim, avoiding multiple defenders while in the air.
Merker is an all-around scorer at the shooting guard position. At 6’3″ he can switch to different positions throughout a game. His ability to get to the rim is effective as he uses his size and quickness to slither around multiple defenders in the paint. Merker can stop on a dime and hit the pull-up midrange shot with little to no contest. He handles the ball well and will look to make slacking defenders pay if left open on the three-point line.
Highlights
Prior can score on all levels and defend multiple positions throughout a game making him a versatile player across the board. The small forward can guard the perimeter at a high level while also being able to switch down into the paint to guard bigger players. At 6’4″ Prior can shoot over most defenders around him. He is excellent in the catch-and-shoot game from deep. Prior can back down smaller defenders in the paint for easy points around the rim or midrange area.
Fred is a dominant player in the low post/painted area. At the power forward position Fred can use his strong 6’7″ size to bully his way around multiple defenders trying to strip the ball and block his shot. He is tenacious on the offensive glass as he will not give up on grabbing offensive rebounds until his putback goes through. He has a nice turn-around hook shot he uses when backing down smaller defenders and can even step out and hit the midrange shot.
Scheier is the definition of what it means to be a shot-creator. His ability to get his shot in any situation makes him a very tough guard for anyone. At the point guard position Scheier can throw some beautiful touch passes to teammates you wouldn’t think are open. His tight and crafty handles allow him to get anywhere on the court. Scheier can hit fading-away jump shots from the midrange and three-point area no matter the contest. His finishing ability around the rim is smooth as he looks to seek contact to draw the foul.
