SCORER
Rykse recently committed to Spring Arbor and they just added an elite all around scorer. He can get buckets athletically as well as shoot the lights out with range well beyond the arc.
Dillard has seen his name on these pages a lot since the City Slam Championships and with good reason. He’s a top notch scorer that has to be picked up at the volleyball line. Thing is, when you step out on him, he can take you to the rim as well.

TEAM PLAYER
Spratt is an elite player with a ton of physical gifts on the basketball court. But for me, what stands out the most, is his willingness to do the little things and to play the role his team needs. Spratt is a selfless player that wants to win more than collect stats.

Albion has a commitment from the type of young man you can build a program’s culture around. Haight is a terrific talent that could talk about his own game all day. Good luck with that because you can’t talk to him without him praising the game of others. His teammates come first and that’s an amazing trait from a high quality player.

QUICKNESS
Scott is one of the quickest guards in the state…..easily. He had an excellent summer during grassroots season, showing that he can utilize that quickness at the highest of levels. Scott can take off like he’s shot out of a cannon and change direction and leave defenders in the dust.
Menifield is one of the toughest players to defend in both transition and an isolation set. He’s too quick and too fast to stay in front of. Menifield has the ability to move his defender with his quickness and attack from there.
VERSATILITY
Humphrey-Rembert can be an absolute nightmare for opposing coaches. When you see his height and length, you may think post player. You’re sort of right, he can defend the paint and protect the rim. But then on offense he can step and and attack from the perimeter like a SG.

Struck has so much to offer as a player and prospect and will be a huge addition to a program at the next level. Struck is “positionless basketball”. I’ve literally seen him play every single position through his high school and grassroots career so far.

FACILITATOR
Richards is coming off a tremendous junior season where I thought that he was one of the most underrated players in the state. Why so underrated? Because he makes plays not just for himself but for his teammates as well. Richards fits the “he makes players around him better” description.
Szamrej is the type of guard that coaches always love having on their team. He’s like an engineer of a train. Szamrej can control the feel and the pace of a game, puts his teammates in position and gets them the ball at the right time.

UPSIDE
If you didn’t see Brooks at the PH Michigan Top 250 or the City Slam, you missed out. This kid has D1 skills and potential. Pre injury, he was getting D1 looks. Well, he’s back and he’s even better than before. Brooks is simply one of the best guards in the state.

I’ve always been a big fan of what Watts can do on the basketball court and I’ve always been very high on his game. He can be electric and explosive with the ball and as a scorer. I think he could have a HUGE season.
