– Received an offer from Oakland Community College.

Dillard proved to be one of the most explosive scorers in the state. He’s improved significantly as a passer and floor general.

Dillard is another player that could be considered underrated even after another dramatic rise up the rankings. He has the type of offensive firepower that makes me refuse to put a cap on his capabilities. Dillard is a highlight reel shooter and scorer, but like Yeager above, he’s really expanded his game to a great degree. College coaches would be best served getting some film on Dillard ASAP.

Dillard II recently received an offer from Kuyper College.

Dillard II is out with an injury right now, but that shouldn’t deter college coaches. Really, there should be a line at the doors of Fenton High School. He’s one of the most explosive and electric scorers in the state.

In the previous “Holiday Hooping” article we covered Jahion Bond and mentioned that Fenton has one of the best backcourts in the state. Well, Dillard is his running mate and one of the most electric guards around. He tallied 23 points and dished out 5 assists in a win against Hartland.

Dillard has been red hot this season. This film clip is an accurate representation of his season. He has volleyball line type of range on his jumper and has developed a mid range jumper that’s elite. Dillard can rise up and shoot over the top of his defender. He can be a steal at the next level as a lead guard that get buckets.

Dillard is coming off a terrific summer and an electric fall. He’ll be a player to watch this high school season and has already shown that. Dillard lit up the scoreboard in his team’s first game, scoring 30 points in a victory against Bedford. We pretty much all know already that he’s an elite shooter, and he did show that aspect of his game. But in this win, it was his ability to create looks and score at multiple levels that stood out. Dillard isn’t just a shooter. Against Bedford he was an athletic playmaker and scorer that utilized dribble combos and the shot fake.

Dillard had a terrific summer where he answered the question “Can he score against high level competition?” loud and clear. Not only can he, he can do it in explosive fashion. When Dillard heats up, his jumper is simply game changing. At the City Slam last weekend, he reminded us all that he can score at the rim by attacking off the bounce as well.

After a huge summer and a big time performance at the City Slam, Dillard has to be considered an elite player. College coaches should have him on their radars immediately. Dillard is an incredibly explosive offensive player that can go off at any time. While he’s always had in the gym range on his jumper, his handles and ability to use them to create space and attack the rim stood out on Saturday.

Dillard II was electric in his junior season. Well guess what? He got even better over grassroots season. Dillard II could look like he has a cheat code this winter. He’s an electric scorer with the quickness and handles to create space and the jumper to fill it up when he does. Dillard II can catch fire with his shot and absolutely change a game.

Dillard II sort of exploded last high school season. He’s been an electric shooter and scorer all summer as well. There are some that are still late to the Dillard II party and the City Slam would be a great place for him to continue to show off his game.
