Szamrej is aa great example of how grassroots season can put a player in the light that he deserves. He was absolutely terrific with the West Michigan Future squad. Szamrej can play on or off the ball, but man do I like the way he’s developed as a floor stretching lead guard. Szamrej can not just light it up from deep, but he makes excelent decisions with the basketball.

Disregard the ranking number by his name, because that will change. Szamrej has been playing a very high level of basketball since he shined during grassroots season. He’s an elite shooting lead guard that can get buckets and set the table. He’s going to make a college coach very happy in due time.
