The high school season is creeping closer and closer and we at Prep Hoops Indiana will be giving you non-stop previews until the first week of action. With as many talented players in the state this season, it is important that we give you a list of names to keep an eye on for the season, which is what I will be doing with each position in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes. The point of my list is to give you a preview of some the players that are maybe overlooked a little, still on the college recruiting board, or guys in general that deserve to have eyes on them. With that said, here are shooting guards to watch for in the 2025 class this season.

The 6'4 two-guard really burst on the scene over the spring/summer playing for Team Teauge and caught the attention of many D1 level coaches. He has been one of the more fluid athletic basketball players I have watched over the past year and just really glides down the floor and attacks the basket at will. He has shown an improved three-point game but I really want to watch the consistency of it this season. I am very high on Horton and think he is going to really pop off this high school season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-654925b2a1b01"} /-->

After snagging a few offers from Illinois State and Western Carolina University, [player_tooltip player_id='1525679' first='Drew' last='Snively'] is on the break of a breakout junior season coming up. He has a consistent outside shooting stroke, good size, and solid ball skill to create off of the dribble as well. As the without question No. 1 guy for Zionsville this season, you should see the stat sheet fill up on his part.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-654925b2a1b7d"} /-->

With the amount of players that left the Anderson program from a season ago, this is now King's time to shine. He turned a lot of heads this summer and recently at the MIB Fall League last month due to the way in which he was playing. He knows how to play physical and bully his way through traffic and finish at the rim with his elite athletic ability. Just explosive on the ball and can make plays off of it too. He is also a versatile defender right now, as well. Crucial junior season coming up and I think he can prove he is a D1 caliber player.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-654925b2a1bd7"} /-->

He is known as a knockdown shooter but can also make so many play happen around him. He had some of the better court awareness I have seen out of any junior guard in the state and does a great job of playing with a high IQ both on and off the ball. Real big fan of just the consistent play he brings on the floor and think he is a under-the-radar two-guard that needs more attention.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-654925b2a1c1f"} /-->
