Now we want to dig deeper into the Pennsylvania’s Class of 2026 rankings and examine a group of players who used the camps and showcases in August as a well as fall ball action to increase their recruiting stock significantly.
Below is a review of 2026 “stock risers” from southeastern Pennsylvania who you need to keep an eye on for the remainder of this fall and into the 2023-24 season.
130 to 15… Josh Benka-Coker Josh Benka-Coker 6'7" | PF Bethlehem Catholic | 2027 NJ – 6’6” / Bethlehem Catholic / New Heights / Small Forward: Over the last three months Benka-Coker proved that his extraordinary level of play at Philly HS Live in June was not a fluke. His size, athleticism, and ability to run the floor are extremely impressive. That trifecta enables Benka-Coker to excel in transition. Benka-Coker can also produce points off post ups and with his face-up game. His length, quick second jump and instincts make him a tremendous offensive rebounder.
103 to 30… Ya’majesty Washington Ya’majesty Washington 6'3" | CG Warwick | 2026 State PA – 6’2″ / Warwick / Sideline Cancer / Combo Guard: Washington is a three-level scoring guard with a high basketball IQ. His creative dribble drives nicely set-up his accurate three-point shooting. Washington can also use his attacks on the paint to execute drive and kick plays. On defense he has a habit of knifing through passing lanes for steals. Once he gets into the open court, Washington’s speed gets him to the cup quickly. Once at the rim, he can convert through contact.
89 to 40… Ryan Warren Ryan Warren 6'5" | PF Academy of New Church | 2026 State PA – 6’6” / Academy of New Church / Philly Pride Select / Small Forward: Transferring to ANC and reclassing into the 2026 graduate year definitely had a positive effect on Warren’s ranking. However, it was the more polished offensive skill set Warren has displayed in recent months that had the most significant impact. Warren’s bag now includes a feathery mid-range jumper, the ability to score from the dunker spot as well as attack the cup off one or two the dribbles. On defense, his athleticism, length, and quick second jumps make Warren a plus rebounder and intimidating shot blocker.
200 to 54… Kingston McKoy Kingston McKoy 6'3" | PG Berks Catholic | 2026 State PA – 6’2″ / Berks Catholic / Penn Playmakers / Point Guard: In August McKoy was a top performer at the HG Future All-American Camp. Then, during September he was a weekly standout at the Comp Edge Fall League. So, we have seen an impressive stretch of play from McKoy recently. His ability to score at all three-levels and facilitate for teammates is obvious. But if college coaches watch him closely, they will learn that McKoy is an elite defender. His lateral movement and quick hands make McKoy an on-ball menace. As a bonus, McKoy owns a tremendous understanding of team defensive concepts and frequently appears to be one step ahead of his opponents.
135 to 108… Justin Bobb Justin Bobb 6'5" | SF Conwell-Egan | 2026 State PA – 6’4″ / Conwell-Egan / K-Low Elite / Wing: Bobb’s stock began to rise back in August when he was a standout performer at the AAU Select Tour Camp. He then continued to play at an elevated level in September during events such as the Big 64 Showcase and the Prep Hoops Top 250. He is a lethal open court threat who can pop threes and score off the bounce too. His ability to slash to the basket for a hoop is underrated. Plus, Bobb can work the offensive glass for points. Finally, his man-to-man defense has shown steady improvement.
