On Tuesday we published our updated Class of 2025 prospect rankings. By now you know the players at the top of our 2025 rankings. Names like [player_tooltip player_id='991408' first='Meleek' last='Thomas'], [player_tooltip player_id='1865248' first='Will' last='Riley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1153953' first='Luke' last='Bevilacqua'].

This morning we scoured the Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings to uncover five prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who have impressed us recently. Based on what we have seen over the last three months and a few other factors, we believe the prospects reviewed below are primed for a monster junior season.

No. 15…[player_tooltip player_id='1188620' first='Shareef' last='Jackson'] – 6'7″ / Roman Catholic / NJ Scholars EYBL / Center: The graduation of Roman Catholic's top three scorers from the 2022-23 season means that Jackson will be the centerpiece of the Roman offense this year. Jackson has the skills and basketball IQ to handle that increased role. His bag of low post moves is unstoppable, and his mid-range game is nice too. Jackson's ability to score off the bounce from either elbow is an underrated aspect of his game.

No. 41…[player_tooltip player_id='1460800' first='Jordan' last='Ellerbee'] – 6'2″ / St. Joseph's Prep / NJ Scholars EYBL / Combo Guard: Late this summer during Check Rock League action, Ellerbee proved that his offensive skills had taken a gigantic step forward. Ellerbee produced points at every level, thrived in transition and even ran as a primary ball handler. The improvement in Ellerbee's game should enable him to step into a 1B / 2nd option role for SJP in 20223-24. That promotion should result in an impressive junior season for Ellerbee.

No. 51…[player_tooltip player_id='1601167' first='Zeke' last='Staz'] – 6'7″ / Downingtown West / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Small Forward: Over the last three months Staz proved that he is 100% healthy and that his stretch-4 skills are elite. With teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1379429' first='Donovan' last='Fromhartz'] seeing double teams on every touch, Staz should be playing in space or be the recipient of one-on-one scoring opportunities. We believe Staz will convert at a furious clip on those situations and thus produce some astonishing box scores in 2023-24. His shot blocking abilities will be a major plus this year too.

No. 125…[player_tooltip player_id='1230538' first='Zane' last='Conlon'] – 6'4″ / Devon Prep / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Red / Wing: Thanks to the graduation of key players and the transfer of [player_tooltip player_id='1123922' first='Ty' last='Mishock'], Conlon's time in the spotlight at DP begins this season. That should not be a problem for this multi-skilled wing who can do it all on the basketball court. Conlon can knock down jumpers from all over the court, score on the interior and create for himself off the dribble. Plus, Conlon is an underrated distributor and an excellent rebounder. Our prediction for 2023-24 is that Conlon will stuff every column in the stat book.

No. 240…[player_tooltip player_id='2047682' first='Idris' last='Rines'] – 6'4” / Upper Dublin / Philly Revolution / Power Forward: For 20223-24 Rines has added a stronger frame and more aggressive offensive mindset to supplement his polished offensive skills. Thus, we believe this point-forward prospect is going to catch opponents by surprise this season. Rines can produce buckets in the low post, mid-range and behind the arc. Still, his basketball IQ and distribution skills may be his top assets. With opposing teams focused on stopping UD's backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1269299' first='Ryan' last='Mulroy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1888851' first='Kobe' last='Bazemore'], Rines should get plenty of open looks this winter and he will feast.
