Pangos was stacked with big man who WILL play at the next level. Some of them already ranked & some of them are fresh faces. Let’s get into it.

Daniel Ogoemeka Daniel Ogoemeka 7'0" | C Dallas W.T. White | 2026 State TX
2026 Daniel is true 7 footer that demands attention as soon as he walks in the gym. You can see opponents often looking at him with a “are you serious” face knowing there’s not much you can do with his size. He was impressively mobile at this size, and specializes in the pick and roll situation. Once he has the ball near the rim it’s over, he may have had 20 in game game dunks. He earned a top 30 camp spot and apparently he’s only been playing basketball for a year which is SCARY. His upside is obviously a D1 lock being able to take over the post area at such a young age.
6’9 Davion Adkins Davion Adkins 6’8″ | PF Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy | 2026 State TX could be the best prospect on the list. Not only is he 6’8 but his frame is SOLID. Currently playing big but I can see him developing into a 3 for the next level. He does have alot of on ball skills that most bigs don’t. He was able to get to the rack off the dribble and finish powerful several times. He also blocked several shots to the stands area leaving the crowd entertained. Mike will play a big roll this year for state champ Faith Family so his stock is guaranteed to shoot up in his sophomore campaign.
6’6 Will Saunders Will Saunders 6’6″ | SF Highland Park | 2026 State TX was just active every time I seen him this weekend. Like some of the others he’ll play a 3/stretch 4 at the next level. High IQ in the post, know how to get a rebound and put it up quick, he can also space the floor and knock down the 3. His versatility let’s him be able to comfortably compete with any different group of guys on the court. One to watch going into the season at Highland Park.
Terrell Jackson
Terrell Jackson
2028 Terrell Jackson was one of the few 8th graders let into the camp. While watching him I had to confirm this because there’s no way a kid could have his size and frame in middle school. He’s a solid 6’7 now, he competed with some of the top bigs in the state and looked on par. He made several plays in transition and is a strong post presence on the boards recording double doubles all weekend. Offensive rebounding seems to be his strength at the moment…I can’t imagine on the court with kids his age. He could end up a top 5 ranked center in the state and even nationally ranked with the right development. Keep your eyes on him.
Steve Mcleod
Steve Mcleod
6’7 2027 Steven Mcleod is one of those kids oozing with potential he hasn’t tapped into yet. At 6’7 he grew rapidly this summer and coaches tell me he’s predicted to finish around 6’10 or so. With that being said, his court impact is huge. Nothing to fancy but protects the rim and grab any rebound that comes his way. He’s also developed some strength backing down defenders and finishing with pro moves like hooks and up and unders. Making the top 30 game, Steve is one to watch this winter he had a great summer of development with the Max Levels elite program.
2026 Lane Webster was a fresh face from Arkansas that came to Texas to make a point and he did. I can actually see Lane playing the 2/3 in school and can imagine he is a force when he has the ball in his hands every play. Under the radar Lane was super explosive, running the court and finishing put back dunks and tricky layups. His athletic abilities are way ahead of his time. His high motor on and off the ball makes him a lock for D1 coaches.
Highlights
6’5 Alex Barther was TOUGH. He’s another that I see playing the 2/3 but the event was very guard heavy which pushed him down in the post alot at 6’5. He was terrific off the dribble, his bounce is solid letting him and and finish layups. He also runs the court well and provides a versatile defensive situation being able to guard on the perimeter or drop down to the post. Alex is heavy on my watchlist for the season as I’d like to him operate primarily as a big guard in school ball.
6’7 Phoenix Woodson Phoenix Woodson 6’8″ | SF Crossings Christian | 2026 State OK (OKC) is also way up on my prospect list. Imagine a NFL tight end playing basketball to get an ideal of his frame. Surprisingly most of his damage offensively came from the 3 point line. He is spot up shooter with nice form and when he shot someone said “that’s what he does.” He also provided some good post presence defensively blocking shots, forcing turnovers with his quick hands. He could develop into a national player that is highly sought after. Remind me of Michael Porter Jr a bit.
Anthony Spencer
Anthony Spencer
6’6 Anthony Spencer is also a fresh face on my list. He was overall the most active guy on this list. Consistency comes to mind here as he was never streaky, just kind of there all game doing what he needed to do. Defensively he carried weight, his athleticism lets him slide from block to block guarding 2 players at once. Offensively he has some nice foot work and plays a bully ball type of style that frustrated the defensive. He was explosive, several dunks even off of 2 feet. Anthony will also be at state championship winner Faith Family this year, expect his stock to RISE.
6’6 2027 Dawson Battie Dawson Battie 6’8″ | SF Dallas St. Marks | 2027 State TX was a fresh face for me. Ironically he is the little Brother of 4 star Dillon Battie Dillon Battie 6’8″ | PF Lancaster | 2024 State #146 Nation TX and nephew on former NBA player Tony Battie. He plays with a high motor, runs the court well too. He provided a series of flash dunks by simply beating his man down court on several plays. Strong rebounder, he controlled the boards all weekend. His upside is incredible look for him to one of the top ranked 2027’s in the state and could pull in some nation looks as well.
