On September 23rd-24th I attended the annual Pangos All-West Frosh-Soph Camp at McBride HS in California.

There were 20 teams of 8-10 players on every team. Of the 180+ or so, there were 13 local players who participated.

Here is another group I saw:

[player_tooltip player_id='1834650' first='Jelani' last='McKoy'] Canyon International Academy

A two-way scoring guard is very active on defense with long arms and quick feet. The lefty get downhill to score in traffic and can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. He is a capable deep shooter.

Kwun Lum Yao SG 6'0 2026 Canyon International Academy

A scoring guard is a three point shooter off the catch. He is a good passer up the court and can score it in transition with layups high off the glass. He plays hard on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589731' first='Oluwatomisin' last='Ayodele-Osho'] Canyon International Academy

An athletic defensive guard loves getting downhill. He uses his quick hands and feet to defend on the ball. He can hit the three off the catch and scores on run outs. He can pull-up from mid-range and dunk it in traffic. He has a big IQ and moves without the ball. He will consistently score thru contact and plays hard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133645' first='Razin' last='Smith Jr'] The Gregory School

A strong power forward with good hands and a soft mitts. He can rip thru to score through contact in the paint. He gets on the glass to rebound with his physical build/frame. He is very clever in the lane and knows how to use his physical tools to get the job done.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580233' first='Paul' last='Osaruyi'] Canyon International Academy (Pictured)

The big Canadian is already a well known middle school standout and he is active in the paint with dunks and offensive rebounds and will block shots. He can create his own offense and score inside. He does currently favor his right hand to score but will also score on put backs, catch threes and mid-range jumpers off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2215387' first='Jahmai' last='Samuel-Maragh'] Canyon International Academy

A good sized combo guard likes getting downhill using his left or right hand. He has a polished floater game and can pull-up from mid to the three. He expends a lot of energy on the defensive end with his size and frame.

[player_tooltip player_id='1834123' first='Mayom' last='Mayom'] Canyon International Academy

The Australian stud is a bigger sized wing forward has skill and real athleticism. He can make threes off the dribble and throws it down way above the rim. Defensively he tries blocking everything. He moves really well in space to defend on the perimeter.

On September 23rd-24th I attended the annual Pangos All-West Frosh-Soph Camp at McBride HS in California.
