City Reapers | 6’9” | Forward | Class of 2027

Mayom’s clearest contribution came on the glass, where his positional size and length gave him reach around the basketball. At 6’9”, he provided a frontcourt presence whose rebounding involvement was the strongest takeaway from the night. Continuing to focus on early positioning, establishing contact before pursuing the rebound, and securing the rock before the outlet will help Mayom maximize his role. For now, competing on the glass, running the floor in transition, and defending with his length is the most clearly supported avenue for Mayom to contribute.

Mayom is a high energy scoring wing with great size. He was doing it all on both ends of the floor. He hit multiple three’s off the catch on solid volume. He displayed his slashing ability and ran the break with a purpose. Mayom had multiple slams on cuts to the bucket and on the break. Defensively he was able to guard multiple positions and is a disruport with his length. He set the tone on the defensive end and most of the time picked up full court. Mayom is a very intriguing prospect.

Got it going early off the catch from three, letting it fly without hesitation and making defenses pay every time they lost track of him. He wasn’t only a spot-up threat, either. He attacked closeouts, got downhill with authority, and finished above the rim. He also made an impact on the defensive end, using his length and timing to block shots and change looks around the basket. That’s a two-way skill set.
