Top 250 Expo: Wing/Forward Standouts

At his size he moves fluidly, allowing him to create a bit off the dribble while also beating opposing forwards up and down the floor. Thought he did a nice job of competing on the offensive glass which allowed him to earn a handful of easy put-back buckets in the two games I watched. What he's most known for at this point though is his ability to stretch the floor at 6'6+. His motor just never stopped going, and it made him a force on the glass on both ends of the floor. Was fighting for offensive boards and then powering his way back up through some contact to finish. Also showed some touch on his jumper with a pull-up from around the free throw line during the second half. At 6'3-6'4 he has a quick burst with the ball in his hands, allowing him to blow by defenders with a straight line drive. Has that combination of size, strength, and athleticism that allows him to elevate and finish at the rim regardless of who's there defending. He never looked rushed or sped up by the defense, and just found ways to maneuver around defenders and work his way to the basket. At 6'4 he showed comfort finishing with either hand at the rim, and mixed in some soft floaters as well. At 6'5 he offers some size and while having the skill-set to contribute inside or on the perimeter. Knocked down a few threes in the game I watched, flashing his ability to step outside and really stretch the defense. Has a pretty quick release at his size as well, allowing him to beat the closeout. After a relatively quiet first half, Devin simply took the game over in the second half to help lead his team to a win. He got into a rhythm, and at that point as soon as the ball hit his hands a shot was going up. Pass knocked down a handful of threes in a row that put his team in front for good. He utilized his 6'7 frame to dominate on the glass, and was constantly sprinting the floor. That effort to beat his man rim-to-rim resulted in a handful of easy buckets in transition where he showcased a bit of explosiveness in his 6'7 frame.
