Connor Neill
Connor Neill
Key Returners: Connor Neill 6-7 SF (2025). The 6-7 junior small forward can do it all on the floor whether it’s score across all three levels, defend out on the perimeter and crash the boards. Neill is an athletic wing who can finish above the rim at a high rate and moves around really well for his size. He adds a ton of length and versatility on the defensive end where he can guard multiple positions. Neill continues to make strides and has huge upside heading into the upcoming season.
Key Returners: Amari “AJ” Cummings 6-4 SG (2026). Cummings is an athletic two-way guard who can shoot it efficiently from beyond the arc. He is also very long and rebounds very well from the guard position showing a ton of athleticism on the glass. On the offensive end, Cummings has continued to show a lot of confidence where he can score off the bounce as well as off the catch. He also plays with a high IQ and knows whether to shoot versus pass the basketball to an open spot. Cummings currently holds an offer from Kent State but don’t expect that to be his last offer as he enters his recruitment process.
Highlights
Key Addition: Josh Xiang 6-0 PG (2025). Xiang comes to Bishop Snyder from St. Joseph Academy where he will add his true playmaking skills and ability to play both ends of the floor. Xiang is a very savvy shooter as well when it comes to scoring from the perimeter and will rarely make a mistake on the offensive end. His defense has also continued to improve while guarding on the ball as he shows a ton of energy and activity causing havoc for opposing guards. Look for Xiang to be more aggressive on the offensive end this season as he is starting to get to the rim and unafraid to finish while absorbing contact this season.
Highlights
Sleeper Prospect: Ryan Turner Ryan Turner 6’3″ | SG Bishop John J. Snyder | 2026 FL 6-2 SG (2026). Turner showed a ton of confidence in his game this summer where he can score from all three levels. He has shown he can score off the bounce as well as off the catch where he is starting to play more of a two-guard role. He has a very smooth handle and can control a game at his own pace where he tends to have a strong IQ as well as feel for the game. He is also very scrappy and physical on the defensive end where he will jump the passing lanes to get steals turning into baskets on the offensive end. Turner currently holds an offer from Edward Waters University.
