Becker, a 6-2 wing, appeared in 11 games as a freshman for the Muskies, seeing limited minutes and averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds in those minutes. He figures to be a major piece for the Muskies moving forward, however, and I’m looking forward to seeing how his all-around offensive game has developed. Muscatine really needs a second scorer to step up alongside Luke Wieskamp, and Becker could be that player.
Tyler Hilton | SF | Linn-Mar
Hilton is a player that I don’t know very much about yet, but in the few clips I was able to find of him from last season, he’s an intriguing young wing prospect with good size and length at 6-6. He showed some ability to create looks for himself, putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim where he can finish with either hand. I’m looking forward to seeing him in person to see how he looks physically against some older players, and how his all-around skill set projects moving forward.
Jaidyn Coon Jaidyn Coon 6'6" | SF Storm Lake | 2026 State IA | PF | Storm Lake
Coon was one of the most productive freshmen in the state last season, averaging 13.6 points and 7.3 rebounds a game for the Tornadoes, leading the team in both categories. He’s a well-built, explosive athlete who can score inside with either hand as well as occasionally step out and stretch the floor. He was a standout at our post-season event in March, and I’m looking forward to seeing how he has continued to develop his game on both ends of the floor.
Landon Davis Landon Davis 6'8" | PF Waukee Northwest | 2026 State IA | SF | Waukee Northwest
Davis was one of the best 15U players in the state this summer, putting together a tremendous summer with Martin Brothers and vaulting himself into the top 10 of the 2026 rankings. A long wing who can score from all three levels, he figures to be a major factor for the Wolves as a sophomore, and I’m looking forward to getting my first in-person look at him.
Zander Murray Zander Murray 6'0" | SG Xavier | 2026 State IA | SG | Xavier
Murray was really impressive when we saw Xavier play at Winterset in June, displaying a quick release and unlimited range off the catch. I know that he can really, really shoot it, but I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do with the ball in his hands as a creator.
