I will be posting evaluations based on what I observed from every team that participated in the DMV Top-250. Here is a look at those who played on Team 12.

[player_tooltip player_id='1647325' first='Demarcus' last='Daniel Jr.'] | Gwynn Park (MD) '24

Versatile would be the word I use to describe Daniel's overall game. Now at 6'5", he guards multiple spots and makes winning plays on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148761' first='Nigel' last='Edwards'] | Gainesville (VA) '24

Edwards is a 6'3" forward who is always available for dump-offs and has reliable hands. I liked how he sprinted the lanes in transition and scored easy points as a result.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579098' first='Josiah' last='Legree'] | Loyola Blakefield (MD) '24

Legree is an athletic lead guard prospect who impacts winning on both ends of the floor. One of the many ways he can manipulate the game on defense is by selling contact to draw a charge. Legree is dynamic offensively in that he can hurt you with his playmaking, shot creation, and explosive finishing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148719' first='Mekhi' last='Polk'] | Rock Creek (MD) '26

Polk is a quick guard who impressed me with his array of finishes. He also proved that he can hit the 3 ball and make plays for others while competing on every defensive possession.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956052' first='Brian' last='Poore'] | Old Mill (MD) '25

Poore is a 6'2" guard who is a knockdown shooter from three. He used the threat of his jumper to attack closeouts and pull-up from mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148753' first='Tim' last='Sommer'] | Stone Bridge (VA) '24

Sommer is a guard prospect who worked well without the ball. I noticed that he filled the lanes correctly in transition and finished with a soft touch around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963548' first='Colin' last='Stemberger'] | Champe (VA) '26

Stemberger made winning plays on both sides of the ball throughout the event. He would frequently pass up a good shot to get his teammate a great one. Stemberger was also a menace defensively at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544472' first='Scott' last='Van Antwerp'] | Robinson (VA) '24

Van Antwerp is a 6'4" wing who impressed me with his finishing. He did not shy away from contact on his drives. Van Antwerp will also dish it to an open teammate without hesitation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1870443' first='Sol' last='Vita'] | South Lakes (VA) '25

Vita is a guard prospect who showcased his adaptability. He is effective off the ball offensively because of his ability to shoot the 3, but is also dangerous on the ball because of his passing. Vita also mixed it up nicely in the paint with a variety of finishes and competed relentlessly on the defensive end.
