Expert Analysis
Neam Baattai | Prep Hoops Scout
Josiah Legree showed off his athleticism a handful of times today. He skied for rebounds and knocked down a few shots. Josiah is a good passer and defender, and he had a rebound in which he jumped about as high as I’ve seen anyone jump for a board in a long time. Josiah was solid today in the drills portion that was done before the games as well, and that was where he first caught my eye.

14p 6a 2r 1b 1s vs Team Museum
Legree’s development as a passer was fully on display in a really good matchup with Team Museum. Legree’s playmaking really popped as he hit guys with 1-handed chest passes off the bounce, wrap-around bounce passes on the baseline to the big, alley oops in transition. A dynamic driver that has the ball on the string, Legree shot 71% from the field while scoring from all 3 levels to get the win against Museum

J. Legree 14p 7a 5r 4s vs John Carroll
-Probably the most well-rounded game that I have seen from the SFA senior as he did a GREAT job of finding teammates after steals or in transition. Legree’s ability to anticipate defensive rotations to set up easy driving lanes gave him plenty of space to show improved play-making chops against a young John Carroll team. His handle and perimeter wiggle allowed him to break down his opponent and create advantage opportunities for his team in the paint throughout the whole night. Legree is somehow still one of the best available 2024 players in the area.
