Thomas is an electric lead guard prospect to keep an eye on this season at Wayne Prep in the Goldsboro area. He averaged 13.3 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 5.4 APG, 3.7 SPG and 1.0 BPG on 54 percent shooting from the field. He’s an athletic guard who can operate off the bounce and get to his spots with ease given his strength. He can knock down shots on the perimeter and defend at a high level as well. He’s a prospect that HBCU programs in the area should get eyes on.
Highlights
Williams is a developing guard prospect at 6-foot-4 who continues to impress out of Washington High. He put up stellar production as a sophomore in their backcourt with 17.5 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 1.9 APG and 1.3 SPG on 59 percent shooting from the floor and 35 percent from 3-point land. He’ll be looked upon to improve the success of his Pam Pack squad as another HBCU prospect who schools should target.
Jackson is one name to get to know out of White Oak High given his pedigree on the hardwood. He’s a combo guard who isn’t afraid to make an impact with his defense and ability to operate off the bounce when needed. He’s a 2025 prospect who DII programs need to get eyes on this season given his effortless play on the hardwood.
Hailey is a name who should grow a ton this season in the Providence Day School rotation. He got injured late into the high school season during the playoffs but returns with a ton to prove still for college programs at the DI and DII levels. Ole Miss and Western Carolina have offered but since then, things have cooled off. Look for that to change this upcoming season.
Fife is an impressive lead guard prospect out of Sanderson High who continues to fly under the radar despite his stellar production in the backcourt. He produced 20.6 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 4.8 APG and 2.0 SPG this past year as a junior in the NCHSAA ranks. He’s a guard prospect for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes given his pedigree for making things happen at the lead guard role.
Chapman is another 2025 guard prospect to keep an eye on at Southwest Onslow High after a productive summer. He finished with 15.5 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 3.2 RPG, 2.7 SPG and 1.3 BPG on the varsity stage this past season then showcased his abilities for Truth Elite on the grassroots stage. He’s another high-level two-way guard presence with upside in the 2025 class. DII and DIII programs would be wise to get eyes on him this season.
