Asa Newell, A 6-10 power forward is long and explosive around the rim where he can finish off of put-backs or as a lob threat. Newell has a bright future to be a NBA prospect as he can also stretch the floor knocking down shots from the perimeter. On the defensive end, Newell plays with a ton of versatility where he can defend the perimeter as well as on the interior getting timely blocks and rebounds using his length. Newell recently narrowed his recruitment down to four schools featuring Alabama, Georgia, Gonzaga and Texas.
Derik Queen, A 6-9 forward has a terrific feel for the game and is a strong ball-handler for his size. Queen can also score in a variety of ways whether it’s post-ups or from the mid-range. He shows a ton of confidence when he has the basketball in his hands and is also an underrated passer for his size. Queen is still developing into becoming more of a combo forward as he grows his ability to defend multiple positions. Queen also plays with a high motor and good energy where he displays a ton of patience and plays under control.
Ryan Jones, A 6-9 power forward has drawn a lot of attention since his 8th Grade year is a traditional back-to-the-basket type of player but has polished his game into being more of a viable three-level scoring threat lately. Jones is also a high-level rebounder where he can push the basketball in transition whether it’s knocking down shots off the bounce or off the catch. Look for Jones to have a more poised senior season where he is being heavily recruited by Florida, Miami, Missouri, Virginia Tech, Xavier and several others.
Ibrahima Traore, A 6-9 power forward is your traditional back-to-the-basket type of player where he gets most of his production at the front of the rim. Traore is a solid rebounder for his size where he uses his strength and length to battle on the glass at both ends. Traore will look to expand his game into becoming more of a stretch-forward in order for his game to reach the next level. Traore currently holds offers from Florida International, Oregon, Southern Illinois, Texas State and several others.
Enrico Borio, A 6-8 power forward and recent Jacksonville University commit put up some proficient numbers last season as a junior, averaging 11.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the field. Borio plays with a ton of versatility and production where he can impact the game on both ends of the floor. When he has the basketball in his hands, Borio shows a ton of strength and confidence where he can finish above the rim. On the defensive end, he is an above-average rebounder and is quick to kick the basketball ahead while in transition.
