#16 Belen Jesuit

The Belen Jesuit Wolverines are coming off a 2022-2023 season where they ended it on a 15-game winning streak, including the school's first state title in school history. The Wolverines will look to replace their backcourt duo between Ryan Cuellar and Javi Rosell who both graduated last season. However, the Wolverines do retain 6-1 junior guard Bryce Fitzgerald who brings the team a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. Another name to keep an eye on will be 5-10 freshman combo guard Orlando Roche who has the makings of being a top-tier prospect in the Class of 2027.

#17 Clearwater Calvary Christian

The Calvary Christian Warriors are coming off their second consecutive 20-win season and are one of the early favorites who could represent Class 3A in Lakeland at the end of the season. The Warriors are led by 6-1 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1055592' first='Daniel' last='MacGregor'] (Stetson commit), 6-6 senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1631263' first='Ace' last='Taylor'] and 6-5 sophomore combo guard Ethan Sabec. Another name to keep an eye on this upcoming season will be 6-8 freshman power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2294415' first='Madden' last='Geiger'] who could soon start seeking D-1 interest from his size and versatility on the floor.

#18 Miami Palmetto

The Miami Palmetto Panthers reached the regional semifinals last season, finishing with a 25-5 record. The Panthers did lose a couple key pieces from last season as 6-3 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1858996' first='Randy' last='Smith'] transferred to Columbus and 6-1 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1055700' first='Braylon' last='Burbridge'] transferred to Mater Lakes Academy. The Panthers will look to turn to 5-9 junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2306156' first='Santiago' last='Henriquez'] who averaged 8.4 points and nearly three steals per game as a sophomore last season.

#19 North Tampa Christian

In the first year of playing in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), the North Tampa Christian Titans check in at No. 19 in the Way Too Early Preseason Rankings. The Titans have added a culprit of talent featuring 6-5 sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578313' first='Landyn' last='Colyer'], 6-6 junior forward Brodey Cuffle and 6-9 senior power forward Max Slavik. The Titans could make some noise in Class 2A this season as they will be joined by Sports Leadership & Management, Sagemont, Orlando Christian Prep and Impact Christian Academy as the early favorites.

#20 Tampa Catholic

Despite losing national recruit in 6-6 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1055791' first='Karter' last='Knox'] who is now at Overtime Elite, The Crusaders have reached the Final Four in seven of the last eight seasons. The Crusaders do maintain a good core that features 6-0 junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1301730' first='Isaiah' last='Campbell-Finch'] and 6-1 senior combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1055790' first='Christian' last='Cole']. The Crusaders will also look to rely on 6-0 junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1204061' first='Colby' last='Cannizzaro'] who can be an elite playmaker on both ends of the floor. Tampa Catholic can make a lot of noise this season in Class 3A based on their veteran starting lineup.
