The senior and leader of his team has put on a show for his last go at the high school prep level. What an overall season this kid has put together in nearly all categories as he’s leading in four major ones (points, rebounds, assists, steals). Taylor is a versatile product that can for sure make an impact at the next level. Taylor at 6-6 is a lengthy product with a good IQ and motor to affect the game in the stat column but also where it doesn’t count (leadership, & effort). Ace Taylor Ace Taylor 6'4" | SF Calvary Christian-Clearwater | 2024 State FL , A 6-6 senior forward who can score in bunches whether it’s from beyond the arc or at the front of the rim. Taylor plays with a ton of consistency on the offensive end and is unafraid to get his teammates involved on the offensive end. On the defensive end, Taylor can guard positions 1 through 4 at a high level using his length and athleticism to cover ground. He plays with a high motor and could be a major factor playing at the next level. Taylor does what it takes to be a winner on both ends of the floor and is an ultimate competitor.

A lot of quality aspects to Taylor’s game when watching his film. He’s a 6’6 forward product who has flashes decent athleticism during the off-season where he throws down rim grazers and one-leg slams. Taylor is a beast in transition because of his good motor and speed while he can also stretch the perimeter with a good stroke from three-range. He picked up a recent offer from Lagrange College and should see an uptick in interest heading into his senior season with overall development on both ends of the ball.

Taylor is at his best when he is attacking the basket finishing with both hands around the rim. He does occasionally shoot it from the perimeter as well as the mid-range but will look to gain more confidence shooting across all three levels this season. On the defensive end, he is a solid rebounder for his size and is very quick at getting the basketball in transition. He is also very disruptive and active in the passing lanes where he can get steals which turned into baskets on the offensive end.

The 6-6 wing can impact the game in a variety of ways whether it’s in transition or off the dribble. Taylor ran the floor exceptionally well and finished efficiently around the rim in the win over Apopka. Taylor also showed capabilities in scoring from beyond the arc as well as he off the catch. He also has great defensive rebounding skills where he keeps the ball high with his pure length.

The 6-6 junior wing continues to have strong outings every time he steps onto the court this spring. He scored on all three levels whether it was in the paint, mid-range or occasionally shoot it from beyond the arc. Taylor uses a ton of creativity when he has the basketball in his hands. Taylor will continue to have huge upside as he is currently awaiting for that elusive first offer which could come this summer.

The 6-6 wing is a true three-level scorer who always is there to make the right play. Taylor is a complete basketball player who can defend multiple positions whether he is blocking shots, getting defensive rebounds or getting steals. On the offensive end he can excel at absorbing contact and getting to the free throw line at times. Taylor also has really great ball-handling skills for his size and can beat you off the dribble.

The 6-6 junior small forward added 17 points of his own, as well as adding 7 rebounds and 3 steals in tonight’s 66-63 loss to Victory Christian Academy. Taylor turned his defensive skills into offense and had a breakaway dunk that ballooned their lead in the third quarter.
