Winter Haven’s 2024 Isaac Celiscar Isaac Celiscar 6'6" | SG Winter Haven | 2024 State #263 Nation FL has been a pivotal contributor to his team and community throughout the journey. Despite losing a few production players, the recent Yale University commit said he is determined and fueled to give back to his city the hardware of a state championship before heading off to the next level. He helped lead Winter Haven to a 21-1 record with 20 consecutive wins. When breaking down Celiscar’s game and film, you quickly realize this kid is a rebounding magnet and a potential double-double machine because of his 6-6 frame combined with long arms and an athletic build. It’s his versatility on the basketball court that makes him an intriguing prospect.
Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL | F | 2024 | Columbus | @CameronBoozer12
2023 stats: 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.1 blocks
One of the nation’s premier national prospects has dominated the 7A class the past couple years and has his team going in the right direction midway through the state tournament. This kid holds major Power 4 offers from nearly every school in the country. The 2x state champ is currently the #1 ranked junior because of his sheer college-ready frame and versatile ability on the court.
Lorenzo Cason Lorenzo Cason 6'2" | PG Victory Christian | 2024 State #75 Nation FL | G | 2024 | Victory Christian | @CasonLorenzo1
2023 stats: 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.9 steals
Victory jumped on the Polk radar last season while taking down some of the tough high schools in the area. The Storm are led by D1 FAU commit Lorenzo Cason Lorenzo Cason 6'2" | PG Victory Christian | 2024 State #75 Nation FL who is stamped as the Real Deal. VCA is primed to make a run for the 2A title and finally get over the OCP hump. This team is certainly battle-tested with star Cason finding his scoring groove at the right time. He’s one of the true phenom prospects to come out of the Polk area in some years.
Isaiah Campbell-Finch Isaiah Campbell-Finch 6'1" | PG Tampa Catholic | 2025 State #361 Nation FL | CG | 2025 | Tampa Catholic | @Isaiah_CFinch
2023 stats: 24.9 points, 4.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 steals
Another rising guard for the Crusaders who can be effective with good ball handling and tough finishes around the rim. Has seen his recruitment take off this offseason as he has really impressed with his scoring output this season.
Ryan Blount Ryan Blount 6'6" | CG Rockledge | 2024 State FL | CG | 2024 | Rockledge | @ryan1blount
2023 stats: 27.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.6 steals
The 6-6 combo guard has everything you want in a high-upside college prospect. Blount has flashed a solid outside and midrange jumper throughout his career while also being able to score around the rim. He’s just an overall ball player. He also crashes the boards well and can score in transition. Blount has to get some love from in-state Florida schools looking to add an underrated piece.
Caleb Williams | G | 2024 | Ribault | @caleb3williams
2023 stats: 24.2 points, 6.4 assists, 4.5 steals, 3.8 rebounds
One of the premier guards in the North Florida area has been on a tear this season. This kid can light it up from the field but is a magician with the rock in his hands while creating for his teammates. College coaches have to get eyes on the floor general. He’s stepped up his efforts this season, helping lead Ribault to a 17-6 record so far.
Josiah Shackelford | CG | 2024 | Seminole | @JosiahShackelf1
One that I’ve slept on during the off-season but is a Real Deal bucket. Shackleford helped the Seminoles to a 22-7 record as they take on Evans tonight in the region semifinals. The senior has shown that he’s been under-the-radar but has the potential to make an impact at the next level.
Derek Delgardo Derek Delgardo 6'0" | PG Leto | 2024 State FL | G | 2024 | Leto | @DelgardoJr
2023 stats: 20.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.1 steals
What a season this kid has put together in an historical year for Leto who has ventured further into the postseason than ever before. The Falcons are riding the hot hand of Delgardo who has scored 20+ points in 14 games this season. A deadly sharpshooter that can also get to the rim and provide decent defense on the other end.
Darius Cunningham Jr. | CG | 2024 | Navarre | @Darius_C24
2023 stats: 22.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.4 steals
A North Florida prospect that has been overlooked and underappreciated by a lot of scouting outlets. Just look at the production and accolades from a season ago: 1st in Rebounds Per Game 6A District 1 (8.6) – 1st in Assists Per Game 6A District 1 (4.5) – 1st in Double-Doubles 6A District 1 (10) – 3rd in Points Per Game 6A District 1 (14.9) – T-3rd in Steals Per Game 6A District 1 (2.0). This kid is a future production combo guard at the next level that has decent size and upside to be a consistent scoring threat. He’s averaging over 20.0 PPG and will be crucial for him to continue with the overall output in all categories.
Tate Darner Tate Darner 6'0" | SG Santa Fe Catholic | 2025 State FL | G | 2025 | Santa Fe | @TateDarner_
Haven’t got to watch Darner play live since the last season and this kid is really starting to grow into his frame. I’ve mentioned this now a few times, but Darner is the top sharpshooter in Polk County who has truly found his game in his junior season. I knew of his potential upside but to watch it on display this season has been truly impressive. He’s a lights-out shooter as many know but it’s the slept-on winning spirit and leadership mentality that may not show up on film. Watch out for Darner to continue developing and get the attention of college coaches.
Ace Taylor Ace Taylor 6'4" | SF Calvary Christian | 2024 State FL | F | 2024 | Calvary Christian | @AceTaylor164
2023 stats: 25.3 PPG – 8.7 rebounds – 4.2 assists – 1.8 steals
The senior and leader of his team has put on a show for his last go at the high school prep level. What an overall season this kid has put together in nearly all categories as he’s leading in four major ones (points, rebounds, assists, steals). Taylor is a versatile product that can for sure make an impact at the next level. Taylor at 6-6 is a lengthy product with a good IQ and motor to affect the game in the stat column but also where it doesn’t count (leadership, & effort). He’s willing to crash the boards and provide solid defensive effort as well. Offers should start rolling in for this kid.
Tavian Cook Tavian Cook 6'3" | CG Gateway | 2024 FL | CG | 2024 | Gateway Charter | @TavianC00k
2023 stats: 24.8 UCF PPG – 8.9 rebounds – 4.4 steals – 3.1 assists
Cook has helped lead the Eagles to a 16-3 record on the way to potential consecutive District Titles. Standing at 6’3, the rising senior guard isn’t afraid to flash his athleticism as he’s a fierce finisher at the rim, is a beast on the boards, and forces steals on the defensive end. He’s really turned it up a notch in the scoring column this season, showing his ability to develop. Look out for Cook to have another productive post season and begin to generate interest around his recruitment.
