He scored 33 points to go along with 9 rebounds in their semi-final win over Labelle, and recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds in their Championship victory over Estero.

Cook has recorded double-digit scoring in every contest this year, and has also had multiple 20+ point games, and multiple 30+ point games on the season. The 6’3″ CG is averaging 24.1 ppg, 8.8 rpg, and 3 apg and scored a season-high 34 points earlier in the season in a win over Dunbar. The do-it-all guard plays very aggressive and likes to attack the rim. He is a strong-bodied guard who rebounds exceptionally well for his position and can take a game over with his scoring ability. Cook who led the Eagles to an 18-3 record, is staring down yet another district championship to add to the trophy case in 2024.

Cook has helped lead the Eagles to a 16-3 record on the way to potential consecutive District Titles. Standing at 6’3, the rising senior guard isn’t afraid to flash his athleticism as he’s a fierce finisher at the rim, is a beast on the boards, and forces steals on the defensive end. He’s really turned it up a notch in the scoring column this season, showing his ability to develop. Look out for Cook to have another productive post season and begin to generate interest around his recruitment.

Cook has had a tremendous season thus far, averaging 26.1 ppg, 9.2 rpg, and 3.1 assists per game, leading his Eagles to a 12-2 record. He doesn’t just fill the stat sheet though, he is always communicating out there and doesn’t let his teammates get down on themselves. When he’s not on the floor he still impacts the game, where he is a vocal leader assisting his teammates, and is always trying to help the team in whatever way he can. Cook is a score first guard who is aggressive and likes to get to the hole, and as his stats show, he really does do it all for Gateway. The senior guard’s play and leadership will be a major factor in his team’s postseason success this year.

The 6’3′ CG has the ability to score 30 any given night. He’s led Gateway to one of the best records in the area (8-1), including 6-1 in December, and a 5-game win streak to close out 2023. Cook is an athletic, fast guard with a score first mentality, where he is very effective at getting to rim and finishing with contact. He’s a strong kid who can matchup with just about anybody on the court, and is an excellent 2-way player who plays very well in transition, creating offense from defense. Cook has recorded double-figures every game so far this year, including 34 in a win over Dunbar, and heads into 2024 averaging 25.8 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

The 6’3″ guard is an unselfish player who looks to get his teammates involved. He plays the game with high energy and likes to get into the paint where he can finish at the rim or dish it out for an open shot. Cook is a strong, physical kid who uses his athleticism to be effective on the boards and create mismatches on both ends of the court. He’s a lock-down defender who doesn’t back down from a challenge. A member of the All-State Third Team last season, look for Cook to push himself and his teammates throughout the season in hopes at making another playoff run in 2023-24.

Cook was named to the All-State Third Team last season averaging 18.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game for Gateway helping lead the Eagles to their first district title in school history.

The 6-3 rising senior guard had an efficient shooting day for the Florida Phenoms as he can score in a variety of ways. In the game against Team Trilogy, Cook exploded for a game-high 28 points and dished out some nice assists in the 64-60 win. Cook brought a big frame and has huge athleticism as a combo guard and will be a big factor to watch going into his senior season.
