Randy Smith, A 6-4 senior guard who transferred from Miami Palmetto to Columbus during the off-season is a top-tier threat on both ends of the floor. He has a knack for playing unselfish whether it’s making the extra pass on the offensive end or reading the next pass on the defensive end. Smith’s game has grown into a key versatile role where he can score on all three levels or defend multiple positions. He also has a strong will to go get rebounds and force the opposition into taking tough shots. Smith will look to head into his senior season with a boost in his recruitment as he currently holds an offer from St. Thomas University.

Smith has a heavy dose of athleticism as well as versatility where he can guard against multiple positions on the defensive end. On the offensive end, Smith is crafty and get downhill where he has a strong attack to finish at the front of the rim. He is at his best when he’s at the catch-and-shoot where he can be dangerous when it comes to scoring from beyond the arc.
