Bennett Cizadlo Bennett Cizadlo 6'4" | SF Totino-Grace | 2027 State MN of Totino-Grace (Team Tyus). Bennett has the look of a player that does a great job playing off the ball to catch and score in a variety of ways. Thought he rebounded solid, defensively got to spots, and play by play gave production to his team in a number of ways. Solid producer.
Malachi Hill Malachi Hill 5'9" | PG Totino-Grace | 2027 State MN of Totino-Grace (PJ Hoops). There was so much about Malachi Hill Malachi Hill 5'9" | PG Totino-Grace | 2027 State MN ‘s constant affect on the game (dribble separation, attack to finish, pull-up jumper, touch in space at the arc) that reminded me of what Jerome Williams has shown at Minnehaha Academy and Minneapolis South. In addition to that though, I really loved the way Hill passed the basketball in a very high level way. Transition feeds, passes off the ball screen, hitting cutters off his attack, it’s the biggest thing that stayed with me.
Jaylan Hynes Jaylan Hynes 6'0" | SG Totino-Grace | 2027 State MN of Totino-Grace (PJ Hoops). I really like the control that Hynes plays with. The control he has with the ball on the attack, the body control to finish, and the tempo he plays with. I also think Hynes can be an outstanding defender, he helped his team relentlessly finish against teams last Sunday.
Mustafa Mohamed Mustafa Mohamed 6'8" | C South St. Paul | 2027 State MN of South St. Paul ( D1 Minnesota ). At 6’8 Mustafa is long and runs well. That alone is a step ahead of many of his age and makes him a prospect to watch. What seems to separate the active big man was how well he closed in on his help defenders to contest and block shots, and how well he rim ran to catch and complete plays. Still a bit raw but with experience he has a chance to be an excellent prospect.
Trey Theis Trey Theis 6'6" | PF Prior Lake | 2027 State MN of Prior Lake (PJ Hoops). Theis may have made the biggest impression of any player. He was productive throughout the day using his combination of skill, mobility and agility to get constant results. Trey also looks to have the physical measures to be a really strong prospect as he continues to get a stronger core while growing. Strong days look ahead based on what we saw this weekend.
Gavin Walter Gavin Walter 6'3" | SF Champlin Park | 2027 State MN of Champlin Park (Team Tyus). One of my favorite players to watch this past week was Walter. There is a maturity to him that I think will get him varsity chances quicker than some others. He is 6’4 and is a really smart passer plus that jumper comes out of his hand so quick, one of the best snap releases you will see. Really a matured player.
