Ryder Phillips Ryder Phillips 5'11" | PG Catoosa | 2027 With range from three and a good feel for the game, Phillips made a clear impact in the two games he watched. He has some pop to his movements, capable of pulling up from deep. He had active hands on defense, which was a plus. And on drives, after a sloppy start he seemed to adjust well with an understanding of driving to create for others with good passes.
Tyson Pogi Tyson Pogi 5'11" | PG Mustang | 2027 State The skilled and composed lead guard was highlighted in the GameChangers from the event.
Dallas Lowe Dallas Lowe 6'0" | SG Cascia Hall | 2027 State An explosive scorer, Lowe was also covered in the GameChangers from the event.
Kade Shook Kade Shook 6'1" | SF Roland | 2027 The eastern Oklahoma standout had his moments of effectiveness thanks to his high activity level. In the first contest, he lived in the passing lanes with a couple of steals and scores. He understand his role well, showed good feel on the defensive end and his energy level kept him involed. After one offensive rebound, he showed good composure with a pumpfake to create an opening to score.
Nick Pitman Nick Pitman 6'2" | SF Bishop McGuiness | 2027 Headed to Bishop McGuinness, Pitman used his good wingspan and solid height to have moments of effectiveness. One particular finish around the basket stood out, when he showed good body control to adjust and have a “big boy” finish in traffic.
Ezekiel Wehr Ezekiel Wehr 6'4" | PF EPIC Charter | 2027 A psychical presence for this age group, with promising moves around the basket. But on Saturday, efficient finishing eluded him in the two viewings. But he kept working around the paint with putbacks and other positive moments.
Jayden Denson – A bulldog like lead guard, he’s a physical downhill driver. With a combination of strength and skill, he used a mixture of power and finesse to find his way into the lane. During the viewings, he used a variety of moves to create advantages on drives. One time he hit a nice spin move. Another time he relied more on patience with a pump fake for an up and under move. Denson will look to join with his brother Jordan to enfuse youth and energy into the Chandler Lions program this winter.
Pierson Vanlandingham Pierson Vanlandingham 6'4" | SF Deer Creek | 2027 Right now the lanky forward looks to be a good stretch forward candidate. He splashed a deep three early and had moments of crashing the glass hard. The motor was a good consistent note for the Deer Creek forward. He looks to still be in the process of developing a face up and floor game, as he had some good moves and others time he looked like he was doing a tad too much, leading to a poor shot selection or turnover. Still the size, flashes of skill and high motor make Vanlandingham a name to track in the future.
