Team high 24 points for the explosive scorer. He took advantage of one one matches and COOKED off the dribble. Has nasty mid-range game, where the threat of his extra gear gets defenders’ on their heels. When he’s on fire, he’s a joy to watch as a pure bucket getter. Hopefully the strong ending to his junior season is a spring board for a good 17U AAU season.

When Lowe is on a heater like he was Saturday, he’s one of the toughest players to stop in Oklahoma. Routinely dusted defenders with his stop start ability and crossovers. Snatched the defender’s ankles at one point them drained the three. Lowe has always had a next level burst and smooth game, but he’s adding more counters to be more effective in the halfcourt. Another promising sign is how he’s working to see the floor better and improving his passing. As at his height, he might trend to be more of a combo guard than straight two guard.

One of Oklahoma’s most dynamic players, Lowe lead a double digit comeback victory for his Commandos. Was on fire in the mid-range in the second half. Quick first step to gain a step on defenders and then rise up to score. Or can get defenders on their heels and use the split second of space to also quickly hit. His DNA is 100% as a score first guard, but looked more well rounded during the comeback. Caused some havoc on the defensive end and impressively had improved decision making and passing. Always draws a crowd on drives, this time he saw the floor well and made accurate kick out passes. If those moments of creation continue to combine with his natural scoring, he’ll be set up for long term success.

Lowe is one of the premier bucket givers in Oklahoma. Has an extra gear in transition, along with stop start ability in the halfcourt. Glides to the rim, while also having a lethal pull up. Strong shooter as well from distance. Has been up and down against national competition, as he’s very reliant on scoring right now. Which at times can make his impact muted. As he matures he should become stronger, which will be needed for finishing when playing upper tier high school competition and also at the next level. Lowe will always be a bucket, the questions now will be how does the rest of his game develop.

Team high 22 in the Commandos win. Lowe got the party started with an explosive first half. He’s quick and smooth, with one of the best off the dribble shooting games in Oklahoma. Add in the extra gear he has when he pushes it in transition or gets the corner in the halfcourt, and he’s a nightmare for defenders. It’s a strong redemption story for the youngster. As he was sick during their semifinals game last year. Now, he has Cascia playing for the 3A State Title.

Lowe was a terror with the ball in his hands. From pushing in transition and snaking by defenders in the half court. To quickly stopping and pulling up to shoot over smaller guards, he did it all. Is already one of the best scorers in Oklahoma regardless of grade. Has the type of old school mid-range game that is the perfect counter punch to when opponents try to play off of him to account for his speed. Cascia’s dominating win on Saturday was a very loud reminder of how good Lowe and the Commandos can be.

As a freshman Lowe already was faster than most, with a controlled burst that often left defenders in the dust. Now as a sophomore, he’s even faster and harder to keep out of the paint. Also is now more explosive vertically which makes him an even more dynamic finisher at the rim. With his extra gear, old school mid-range game, and microwave ability to catch fire from deep, Lowe will be one of the best scorers in Oklahoma. Regardless of class.

Lowe simply knows how to score the rock. Attacking in transition, pulling up in the mid-range and even streaky three point shooting. He’s added some height, which will help him survive at the rim. But as his body matures, he’ll need to start gradually add strength to his skinny frame. Most importantly, the early signs point to him having the skillset and game to continue to develop into an elite scorer. Special upside for a player who passes one of the best tests in basketball, can he go get you a bucket? Yes,

Currently one of the top scorers in Oklahoma’s freshman class. Based on how Lowe’s spring has started he is set up to be one of the best scorers in Oklahoma regardless of grade. It starts with the end to end speed he has that makes him a blur in transition and a handful in the halfcourt. But there’s already maturity to his scoring game, especially with his ability to hit jumpers off the dribble. The 918 guard is an elite prospect, set up for a huge spring against national competition.
