Cascia’s dominating win on Saturday was a very loud reminder of how good Lowe and the Commandos can be.

As a freshman Lowe already was faster than most, with a controlled burst that often left defenders in the dust. Now as a sophomore, he’s even faster and harder to keep out of the paint. Also is now more explosive vertically which makes him an even more dynamic finisher at the rim. With his extra gear, old school mid-range game, and microwave ability to catch fire from deep, Lowe will be one of the best scorers in Oklahoma. Regardless of class.

Lowe simply knows how to score the rock. Attacking in transition, pulling up in the mid-range and even streaky three point shooting. He’s added some height, which will help him survive at the rim. But as his body matures, he’ll need to start gradually add strength to his skinny frame. Most importantly, the early signs point to him having the skillset and game to continue to develop into an elite scorer.
