The competition was on point at the first Prep Hoops Washington Freshman Showcase in Bellevue and these freshmen really impressed me with their effort across the board. They didn't just showcase some great skill Saturday, they showed a will to battle and these next handful of guys stood out as some of the top hustlers of the event.

Ronnie Wiggins Bellarmine Prep

Wiggins gets the nod for All-Hustle Team because of his relentless approach to finish every play. There were numerous times he drove inside and missed the shot at the rim but stayed with it, clawed the rebound loose, and then put the ball back up and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2116694' first='Trey' last='Collier'] Lincoln

Collier was a kid who always seemed to be sprinting down the court or in the midst of a breakout. Every time I looked up he seemed to be on his way down for another easy two. He was a fighter on both sides of the ball and racked up the buckets and steals all day.

[player_tooltip player_id='2056716' first='Marley' last='Miller'] Edmonds Woodway

Miller was just a kid who was in on every play. Whether he was boarding the ball and pushing it up the floor, hustling to save an errant pass from out of bounds, or creating some sort of flow offensively, he was all over the court and a mainstay among the action.

Leon Heilman Timberline

This guy was working out there. He always seemed to be pushing the ball in transition, bursting by his man in the half-court, and making ballhandlers work on the other end. He was one of the biggest competitors at the event.

James Hudson O'Dea

Hudson was another kid who was just up and down the court and getting in the mix at any opportunity. Leaking out for passes ahead, getting the board and going, Hudson took a ton of shots at the rim and it was largely due to his outstanding hustle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2028908' first='Isaiah' last='Kiehl'] Monroe

Kiehl was a hard worker in every aspect on Saturday. He looked to penetrate and finish or dish almost every time he got the ball, ready to attack and get the defense shifting. He used his athleticism and strength to compete and contribute in just about all categories at the showcase.
