This invitation only league features elite 2024 through 2027 prospects from the tristate area. Below is Part I in our preview of the 2023 Check Rock Summer League rosters. Obviously, there will be a focus on players from southeastern Pennsylvania who are participating this summer.

Niterix

This roster is stacked with talented wings / forwards, so if their guards can contribute even just a little bit, Niterix should win a host of games. Leading that wing / forward group are stars [player_tooltip player_id='1187931' first='Devin' last='Booker'] (24 points & 7.4 boards) and [player_tooltip player_id='1477716' first='Kevin' last='Rucker'] (14.5 ppg. & 5 rpg.). Devon Prep standout Zane Conlan and emerging 2025 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2235948' first='Brendan' last='Horan'] will also be in the wing/forward rotation. That foursome will look to smooth combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='1287327' first='Billy' last='Rayer'] to lead the backcourt production.

Oath 84

On paper, this squad is the odds-on favorite to win the ‘chip. Their lineup needs no introductions because it reads like a SEPA all-star steam. Look at these names -- [player_tooltip player_id='991421' first='Ryan' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='1153953' first='Luke' last='Bevilacqua'], [player_tooltip player_id='1197607' first='Jaron' last='McKie'], [player_tooltip player_id='1608275' first='Jordan' last='Dill'], Nasseem Wright, [player_tooltip player_id='1867330' first='Deacon' last='Baratta']; [player_tooltip player_id='1271429' first='Kai' last='Shinholster'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1196125' first='Jacob' last='Meachem']. Good luck stopping that group of bucket getters.

6Am Run

SEPA perimeter scoring machine [player_tooltip player_id='1136565' first='Jake' last='West'] will be teaming up with a host of Delaware's top prospects on this roster. Running with West will be Delaware standouts Emmanuel Vonhm, Kionne Lang, and Steven Nixon. All three and of them will play at the next level.

GHP Innovations

This roster has a nice blend of highly ranked prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania mixed with some high-level talent from Delaware. Representing SEPA will be [player_tooltip player_id='1848532' first='Zamir' last='Parker-Barnes'], [player_tooltip player_id='1406768' first='Sammy' last='Jackson'], Sebastian Edwards, and [player_tooltip player_id='1406894' first='Emmanuel' last='Butts']. Parker-Barnes has been playing outstanding basketball of late. Flying under the radar on this squad is DJ Berry from Garnet Valley.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078705' first='Shawn' last='Warren Elite']

SW Elite's team will feature a balanced scoring attack. Working the interior will be [player_tooltip player_id='1187959' first='Larenzo' last='Jerkins'] (1st Team All-HGSL) as well as Imhotep's rising star [player_tooltip player_id='1477721' first='Ma'Kye' last='Taylor'] and athletic wing [player_tooltip player_id='1589153' first='Jahad' last='Marable']. Providing the scoring from the guard spots will be stock rising 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1990921' first='Zach' last='Campbell'] and Boy's Latin scoring point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1848507' first='Perry' last='Fields'].
